When I try to play battlefield 4 this message pops up 100% of the time. Can anyone help me with this problem?

sorry i didnt see your response earlier as mentioned in your later post:
go to documents>battlefield>settings find PROFSAVE_profile open with notepad and change the mantle settings to 0. if that doesnt work you can delete the file and it should start it up by default.
IMPORTANT
deleting PROFSAVE_profile will erase all settings including your button mapping and may possibly erase your singleplayer progression. (atleast it will on consoles so i will suspect it does the same on pc. better safe to warn you so you may back up the file or move it to a different directory if you need to delete)

to fix this you could also just open the file and find the following text line GstRender.MantleEnabled then change it to Disabled and its fixed

Deleted that folder, worked for all of 15min then got a new error:
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The device is hung which is
typically caused by issues in the graphics driver or alternatively
the application"). GPU: "AMD Radeon (TM) R7 370 Series",
Driver 8.17.0010.1404 10/7/2015 16:04:40
And of course this only happens with Crossfire. Remove the other card (same as one installed, brand and all), no issues...period. I've even updated PunkBuster. Nada.

After trying to repair the game, update punk buster, delete the profile folder, try 32bit launcher vs 64bit, uninstall/reinstall AMD CCC/driver manually, (and every other combination and suggestion) the only thing that worked was the DDU (Display Driver Unistaller) DDU v15.5.1.0. Just Google it and download. You will need to launch it in SafeMode after you unzip and install. Its pretty much dumb proof, just follow the prompts and let it do its thing. I'm back to using Mantel, Ultra setting with crossfire, ZERO issues. BAM!
