China Rising DLC did not carry over to Xbox One

Alright, I downloaded the China Rising DLC via pre-order from Gamestop for xbox 360. I recently got an Xbox One and carried over my stats. MY CR dlc did not carry over how ever. I called Gamestop and asked if dlc carried over and they told me it that it should carry over from 360 to XB1 (PS3 to PS4). It did not for me. Ive tried clicking on the dlc  on the in-game store to see if it came up as FREE for purchase or if it gave me the option to DOWNLOAD AGAIN (as told to do in a forum on this site). That didnt work.

Is there anything else I can try since I cant get in contact with EA to get a straight answer?

I do plan to get a premium membership down the road when more DLC is available. I just want what Im due now instead of waiting till then.

Sorry for any confusion caused regarding this. In short: yes, you will need to purchase CR on Next Gen.

In order to receive the Battlefield 4 Expansion Pack: China Rising on Gen 4, you need to have done either of the two following things:

• Pre-ordered Battlefield 4 for a Next Gen Console at full retail price.
• Purchased Battlefield 4 Premium for either a Gen 3 or Gen 4 Console.

not saying this is your fault (the ea rep) but i do think its out off order that we have to buy the china rising download when we payed for the game twice over i had china rising on xbox 360 and mine never carried over when i was told aswell that it would carry over so bought a pre owned bt4 xbox one game so now i either have to pay 11 pound or 39.99 to get china rising jjust wish we had abit more news that it wouldnt carry over
