Battlelog app will not let me sign in, says too many redirects

When I press sign in or create acc on battlelog app, it gives me an error message that reads "could not reach (url) too many redirects" I have deleted and redownloaded from play store multiple times.

Try the following:

1. Go to your Settings
2. Go to Storage
3. Go to Apps and Notifications
4. App info
5.  (Battlefield)Companion App/Battlelog App
6. Storage
7. Select Clear Data
