Battlelog Web Plugin 2.3.1_125 will not install properly in Battlelog

I have gone through the game completely on easy mode.  I went to start over and keep getting told I have to download plugin 2.3.1_125, which I don't need since I do single player and don't need voice comms ability.  The plugin keeps telling me to install it and continue, but will not let me continue.  I do save, then run, and it acts as if it is downloading and running, then nothing happens.  This is the first time this game has done this to me.  I have a PC, run Windows 7 Vista, and as I said before, have played through the entire game once, so it was working properly up to the introduction of this plugin.
