Battlefield 4 save issues

I have been playing campaign and I made it to the 3rd mission. I had saved and exited the game but now when I try to play single player again it, it begins form the very beginning. Is there no way to return to where I was?

I am having the same issue. It's happened twice to me now.

Same problem. Really don't want to play through the campaign again.
