I just got windows 8.1 and I can say its totally worth it!!!!!! The game runs like mad compared to windows 7! BUT since i Upgraded i crash really often as well! Like almost every map durring dransitions, loading or generaly ingame when runing or what ever? Also I get lots of lag in game . I mean not FPS lag but lag lag.. latency it says my ping is 40 but it feels really weird like the rubber band bug in BF3 beta

CHECK YOUR AUDIO DRIVERS IN DEVICE MANAGER!

If you have more than one DISABLE ONE AT A TIME AND TRY TO CAUSE THE CRASH! Not yet varified as I'm still testing it! Further Post later this evening to determine if this is the problem or otherwise!

Thanks for this tip. Seemed to work after I disabled NVIDIA HIgh Definition Audio. I finally completed the campaign without the crashes. I'll report back if anything on MP.
