Battlefield 4 doesn't launch

Surely you were given a product key, use that. Delete the game, reinstall, maybe try the steps I took on page 2 and just start from the beginning, if you bought the game and the platform is pc, then you have it period.

As long as you were smart enough to keep the code they sent you. Actually no if you installed bf 4 through the EA app then it will detect that and allow you to reinstall, I am almost 99£ sure

Very coincidental as I was going to write something here recently but just forgot, however, I SORT of found a fix, but it could be a very unique situation.

If you play Battlefront 2 (EA) and have used Frosties Mod Launcher to mod Battlefront 2, this can be the cause of the issues. 

I had issues launching Battlefield 1 as well as Battlefield 4, and launching either games through the mod launcher actually fixed it oddly. 

Since then I have recently factory reset my PC and have had no issues with either game, so other than that I have no solution unfortunately.

HOLY F***ING HELL!!!!!!! This is what fixed the game for me here in 2024!!!!!!

Thank you so much! I mod Mass Effect using Frosty and sure enough, launching the game from the mod manager WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did do the link on here for the proper Visual C but launching the game from the mod manager fixed the issue.
