Hi,
I bough battlefield 4 yesterday, since it was 8$ on the playstation store. I downloaded it the 12/31/2021. When I open the game, everything works well until I try to play multiplayer. It tells me that it is impossible to connect to EA online. Under the message, it says: " go on http://help.ea.com/fr/article/not-able-to-connect-to-online-play for more information". It also says on the bottom of the screen: "press square to connect". When I press square, a page opens and instantly closes two seconds after to let place to place to a message saying: "The connection to EA online has been lost". I think I tried everything I could try: I restarted my ps4, I restarted the game, I reinstalled the game, I closed my router, changed my wifi, used a different account and even after all those tries I doesn't work. I feel like I got scammed and I really want to play to it since I have a lot of good memories about Battlefield 3.
Please help me

The page to agree terms of service might be broken in the current version of BF4.
Try to login to another EA PS4 game (e.g. Apex or BF1) and accept the terms there.
Maybe then play it for a bit.
After the linked PSN account initiated somewhere else, it no longer touches the agreement page in BF4 and the online function should be working.

Do you have a active PS Plus subscription on your account you want to play BF4 with?
Because this is necessary on PS4 to play games online.
It was not needed back then on the PS3 console.

I am having the exact same issues as detailed above, and my timeline is the same - just purchased and downloaded.
I was able to capture the EA screen that flashes very briefly before getting the message "The connection with EA online was lost". It appears to be a dialogue box to set up a security question. I can not interact with this dialogue box in any way. It appears for less than a second before the error message comes up.
My internet connection is up, my PSplus account is active and up to date.
This is very frustrating, to say the least.

@Im_B0xB0y, @Its_Travis_199, this worked! I had also purchased the Sims 4 at the same time. I loaded it up, and was walked through the security question and ToS flawlessly.
Battlefield 4 now seems to be connecting.
Please do what you can to ensure this solution is easy to find.
Thanks!
