Battlefield 4 168 hour game time has reduced to 48 hours

I played for maybe 5 hours, then log in today and find Game Time has reset to 48 hours. Was the apparent generosity of 168 hours a cunning ruse and actually meant free for 1 week of real time? In order to get the full 168 hours offered I would have to have played solidly, 24 hours a day, for a week.

The clock does not work that way sadly, ones you start the game the clock runs until it runs out.

This means that even if you are offline, the clock is still ticking. However the clock only starts to run, ones you first have activated and played BF4.

But ones that is activated, it will run till it runs out and it can not be stopped, sorry.
