BF4 sniper rifle issues. (PS4) [ Edited ]

I haven't played the game in a long time I hopped on to participate in a game of conquest. I was using the gol magnum at first then I realized the enemies are at their base camping so i switch to srr-61 for some long range scoping but the thing wont fire. Any other sniper rifle works fine tho. Please help anyone and thank you

Ohkay I've been playing with the controls and the gun fires when I swap LI/R1 with L2/R2
