Can I just get a straight answer on how to fix this?
Every game mode that I choose, even when I server browse, begins " Joining Server" then reports "You have lost connection to this session".
My game console is new, modem is new, packs downloaded are new.... Whats the problem?
If its opening ports, what ports do I change them to? how? What else could be the problem?
Thanks

These are the ports required for BF4: http://help.ea.com/en/article/online-ports-for-battlefield-4/
Is your PS4 fully up to date?
You may need to contact your ISP as it could be network related.

You'd be best contacting your ISP or using Google to find an appropriate guide for opening ports on your router (which you'll need to look at to find the make and model).

my Isp has them blocked for protection. Do yo know of any way around it?

I'd explain to them what you're attempting to achieve (e.g. play a game). If they still seem unwilling then I'd look to complain or change ISP.
I can't personally see how blocking BF ports protects you, that seems odd and I'm not sure why any ISP would opt to take that action (unless you reside in a country with some strict internet laws?).
If they've simply blocked ports on a router then these can be unblocked. Maybe this is what they're referring to?
The alternative beyond the above would be something like a VPN, but you'd need to research that yourself and EA wouldn't be able to support it. You will also likely experience some lag via a VPN so may find any gaming experience would be less than what you expect.

thanks, but they're being a bunch of * over here. Theyre not allowed to open them... im probably going to try and get a refund.
Does BF hardline require these same changes?

Hardline will have some port requirements, likely the same or thereabouts on the range.

Try repairing game in origin if that does not fix it then reinstall.
Hope it helps
