BF4 how do you jump off the scaffolding at the dam

Don't look down.

Often in these platform jumps you are temped to look down at the platform you are jumping off.

When you jump off make sure you are looking straight ahead or a little up.

Had multiple attempts and this worked first time.

Basicly you run, either jump or don't (can't remember) and then you let go of your mouse and keyboard right when your feet first let go of the ground - DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING, empty your hands and raise your fists in the air in anger of silly gameplay decisions until he figures out that grabbing the ladder might be a good idea.

It took me a couple of tries the first time but run towards the edge and jump towards the ladder (this is before you blow the dam). After you blow the damn the cut scene will have you jump.

I am assuming that you are talking about jumping over to the ladder at the damn?

If so, go back as far as you can, then start running with extra Sprint (not sure which game system but on PS4, you press L3 down), then jump (as close as you can to the edge of the plank) towards the ladder (and hope that you didn't jump too early)

I have tried everything on PS4. Nothing has worked. I have jumped around 300 times.

i wandred what nonsense it is. Spoilt my whole charm of playing BF4. Now i feel like suing EA for entertainment harrasement. 

why would you make such tought part.

Don't Jump off the scaffold.

When Hanna says "it's now or never" turn around a kill a couple of bad guys.  The situation will then be resolved.

I also recommend looking up as you jump as it seemed to help me actually grab the ladder on all 5 platforms.

You have to gain some speed and be going at full speed. At the last pixel/inch of the platform you jump and try to land into the ladder.
