BF4 and BF Hardline Beta on PS4 showing exacly same problem of CE-34878-0.

It is only games that happen. Manking then unplayable. I will not buy any EA games anymore until this get fixed.

Hello, I've searched of the error "CE-34878-0". Try this steps:

Step 1: Close the application, install the latest system software and game update, and restart the system.

Step 2: If a PS Camera is connected to the system, remove it and reboot the system, then go to [Settings] > [User] > [Login Settings] and turn "Enable Face Recognition" OFF.

Step 3: If the error occurs again, back up your saved data, and then go to [Settings] > [Initialization] and choose [Initialize PS4].

I have already done that 4 times, and none of then since to work.

What makes me angry is, only battlefield games do that. The other games run just fine.

what that error seems to be for bf4 is the profile save data. when erased it should fix the issues. if you delete it though it will delete singleplayer progression and settings. as for hardline im not for sure but its possible its the same issue.

hmm you could try http://www.playstation.com/support/ after all its their code maybe they have more of an explaination into why you are receiving the code or you could try http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/?product=battlefield-4 they may have procedures on that issue as well and if youre experiencing on 2 of the games it may be something theyre aware of. all i know is while researching CE-34878-0 error code, profile data deleting and the steps mentioned previously are currently the only 2 solutions documented publicly

I got some news. I just got the Need for Speed Rivals and he also doing this error. It seens all EA games using Frostbite 3 engine are doing this error.

Manking then unplayable.

All other games work just fine.

Ive already tried erverything.

what I find problematic is that the code is a generic crash code. it has also done it for non ea titles like assassins creed black flag and even call of duty ghost. Its hard to say if there is a fix for the error yet. but you should and I recommend contacting PlayStation to see if there is a way around the code and contact ea support in case if it is their games that are only giving this issues to you its possible its on their end
