BF4 Blackscreen (PC) No crash, State_Sparta, No loading screen (x64 & x86).

★★ Novice

As of February 17th, 2019, I had an issue with Origin failing to open successfully.  It was giving me an error that I could not connect to Origin Services, I managed to fix this by uninstalling Origin and installing a legacy version and updating to the latest version.  Then after I fixed Origin, I installed Battlefield 4 again and came across another bug.  When I tried launching BF4, it resulted in opening into a window and sitting in a blackscreen.  I've tried opening BF4 in x64, I get a black screen with no loading icon.  When I try to open with x86 I get no game window.  I have tried opening the game with Battlelog and without Battlelog.  Opening the game without Battlelog from Origin gets me a window of Battlefield 4, but without a loading screen or the flashing dash indicator.  It sits in this position for 10-15 minutes, and then eventually a dash indicator shows up and console works.  It sits like this for an infinite amount of time.  I don't get an error, which makes this utterly confusing for me.  I tried looking for other threads that might have similar issues, but it looks like everyone else has slightly different variations of the issue; or has fixed it in a way that I could not.  Lastly, opening from Battlelog in x86 mode (using the Battlelog Plugin in Internet Explorer 11) gives me a State_Sparta error.

Hey, @SgtSlaughterXXX, make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

Let me know if this works or not for you. Standard smile
