All Icons and Graphics GONE in BF4 since BF5 preload via Origin

Yesterday i successfully played BF4. No problems at al..

Today i did get the email, that im able to preload BF5. So i did preload BF5.

Some hours after finishing preload i wanted to start another BF4 session.

While starting within the game a window popped up saying that all my DLCs are "unlocked" now. I wondered, since they were already unlocked since YEARS!

After closing that window, i realized that almost all graphics and icons are missing. only the avatars of my friends and my profile are visible and the titles like multiplayer, ...

but the rest GONE. even the quit icon is missing although its still functional. i can click it because i know where it is, although its invisible!

i did quit BF4

i did quit origin

tried an update for origin but its already the latest.

forced update for bf4 but it says its already the latest, same for ALL DLC!

tried again starting bf4, but still the same symptoms.

did quit bf4 game and startet repair. it did check ALL local content and said after a whole while that everything is just fine.

stasrted again.... nothing changed....

so?! how do you think you gonna repair it? ONLY change made was preloading bf5. no errors or whatssoever while preloading.

@SicarioAleman Hello,

Since you are on PC this UI bug can be fixed the following way:

Go to My Documents>>Battlefield 4 and in this folder you'll need to delete twinkle folder.

Now launch the game and see results.

It sounds like you are using the in game UI to find games for BF4. Can you log into Battlelog using MS Explorer and the Battlelog plugin method of launching and find a game?

Yes im using the Ingame UI.

Not using the Web Gamelauncher anymore, since EA/Origin forced us to use the UI.

Im going to try but a workaround does not eliminate the need for a fix. Its unacceptable that a BF5 preload destroys BF4 ingame gfx and menus.

anyhow, i try and gonna report how it works while actually playing and if the menues and gfx in there are affected too or not.

The game itself seems to work. So far seems the InGame UI being destroyed....

Shoudl be asap fixed.
