"battlefield 3 has stopped working"

Every time IM in the middle of the battlefield in multilayer my game stuck and the windows is showing me this massage:
"battlefield 3 has stopped working" and my windows can't find a way to fix it

Hi fridman1994!

This error could happen about various problems, like BF3 gameclient, your operation system or even your hardware.

At first, you should update you videocard drivers to the latest state. It could also help to install an older build of your drivers.

Please login to your Origin client, go to "My Games" -> "Battlefield3", then rightclick and choose "Repair Install"

You can try to repair your Windows 7 through the command prompt. To open Command Prompt, click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.

Using the command "SFC /scannow" and any missing/corrupt files will be replaced/reapaired.

Could you please provide us your system specification? If it's hardware related, there are a lot of different possibillitys causind this issue. This problem can happen if your PC doesn't match the minimum system requirements, overclocking, overheating, defect (or not enough) power supply etc.

the problem is that it happens only when im playing the net multiplayer or co op on campaign it runs fine and doesnt get stuck

If you have updated to the most recent Punkbuster version, you will want to downgrade the files in your PB folder. That is, you'll want to replace the contents of the Battlefield 3\PB folder with the ones available in these archives.

You don't need to uninstall/reinstall Punkbuster if you're sure you already have it running and updated.

try this:

These are the following steps:

1. Go to http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

2. Download PBSetup

3. Update the PB Modules to the latest version

This will fix the issue where you were receiving the error ”BF3 stopped working”.

punkbuster is up to date, as is the game.  Still won'trun, and neither willl BF2
