lost my Battlefield 3 premium

So i bought a new xbox for my son for Christmas, i took all of his info and game data off the old xbox via a flash drive. after i had all the data off the old xbox i donated it so someone else could have the chance to play it. Well now that he has opened his new one and we were setting it up, i put the flash drive in and it says it has no data on it. i am sure there was nothing left on the old one before i donated it, so i don't understand why its not on the flash drive. well now i dont have his BF3 premium and i don't have his online pass. his BF3 premium is only 4 months old and i really don't feel like i should be forced to buy it again. can you please help me resolve this issue.

I've had this problem.  My buddy told me to go ahead and check the download history on my gamertag and redownload it.  It should work.  Hope this helps!
