For Console your soldier name will always be the name of your Xbox or PSN accound ID, on PC you can change your Origin name as Nooberis stated with the link.

When you change your origin name, it will change your soldier's name! even if you only change the upper case to lower case or the other way aroud. I've done it!

This is only for your Origin soldier, console soldiers are not changeable via Origin.  Xbox Live charges you around $10 USD to change a gamertag and Playstation will not allow you to change a PSN account name at all.
