Hello!
That's because you lost the connection to the EA server. Try to restart your internet router and it should work. Also, it can be your firewall that blocks you to connect to other players (Nat: Strict). You can turn it off in the settings of your internet router.

Negative, didn't work for me, changed all the settings, checked all over the forums, nothing to solve the problem, i have very good net connection, this problem seems to be due to the new BF3 patch i recently downloaded plus it proposed to update nvidia graphic driver, i have everything in order.. it's EA **bleep**ing up really fed up of it.. seriously
says game disconnect server timed out....
60$ for a game that does that to me.. better move cause all i hear from fans isnt so good..

appreciate you comments, however these methods have not worked for me - or many of the other people who have this problem, The problem is with the EA stats server which resides in the US. From Australia, the ping is obviously going to be negatively affected, causing disconnects.
Any other suggestions?

The solutions in the thread is working fine. However, there will always be new problems every day.
I recommend you to try a different server region. If that dosen't work you can always try to port forwarding. Also, check so not too many using the internet router at the same time. (much traffic).

Different server region - can only use Australia/New Zealand. Get kicked for high ping if I try other countries.
Port forwarding - done
Internet router - am the only one using it
Any other thoughts?
