Origin "encountered an issue loading this page..."

I've been running Origin for a few months now and have never had a problem, but I tried to open it the other day and I've had an error message ever since. It says "Well, that didn't go as planned- Origin has encountered a problem loading this page. Please try reloading it -  if that doesn't work, restart the client or try again later."

I have tried EVERYTHING I can find on forums and even tried contacting customer service but have been unsuccessful for the last 2 hours (and yes, It was during their business hours).

I have tried clearing my cache, allowing Origin to access through the firewall, reset the TCP/IP, completely uninstalled Origin and installing it again and anything else I have found that could be useful.

I am running Origin on a MacOS Sierra (version 10.12.1)


If anyone has any ideas please let me know! I want to try playing my new game!
