Hi, since fresh install of Windows 10 version 1903 (latest) on SSD and Intel i7 CPU with 16 Gb of RAM and Nvidia 1060... fps are only 10-13 fps on a 2560x1440 resolution.
I played on other computer on older Win10 (previous version), no problems (I7 with Nvidia 2060), very fast... similar specs for both computers, except video card in fact.
So it seems that there's a problem with Battlefield 3 on Windows 10 version 1903.
I have few of them to play in network, metro map, so please give us a solution, I'm on vacation for a month and can't play, I will not downgrade to older installation of Windows.
Anyone have an idea ?
Other games, no problem (on Steam), the problem comes with Origin and BF3.
Thanks for any help.
P.S. Computer is clean, I'm developper and updated everything, activated every possible option in Nvidia drivers, make sure the graphic driver in use is the NVIDIA... and the problem seems to come from EA / Origin / Microsoft / Nvidia (maybe AMD too).

Thanks for reply, we have to wait up to end of august... i'll maybe come back to france until then and play on other computer. Crazy that this bug can't be resolved simly by driver update or something quick. I'm actually deploying 1903 on 2 other PC's like every year a clean install on computers that stay at my second house for have latest patchs and security updates... as I use computers for work and play... I'll play other games, tried GRID 2 for example, no problems.

The latest update to Windows 10 seems to have fixed the FPS cap for Battlefield 3. I just tried playing it and my FPS is back to what I was getting before the May update.
Try updating Windows and then playing BF3 again.

It worked. The latest Windows 10 update, KB4505903, solved the problem for me too.
