If you can't launch BF3 through EA app try this!

So I've finally managed to solve this issue for myself and the game is running normally. The solution for me was as follows.

Browse to C:ProgramData (this is by default a hidden folder)

Delete the following 2 folders:

EA Core

Electronic Arts

Launch game. The folders repopulate but the game works.
