Why is it called "Accepted Solution"?
Please take a look at the top of the Accepted Solution post to see why it's marked as Accepted Solution.

 

If the troubleshooting steps didn't work, refer to the section titled "If you continue to experience the issue" in the post, which requests the necessary information for further investigation.

 

Unfortunately, only one post (I am afraid that we need more, the more the better) has shared the required information so far. It is maybe recommended to take a look at that post as an example if you're having trouble formatting the information.

Hey, I'm sharing all the info you need so you can help me with this issue. I purchased this game and all the other Battlefield games from steam and I've had this exact issue with all of them, and I can't even open a case. 

 

 

  • Windows version and build number (Press Windows keyboard button + R > Type “winver” (without the quotes), and press the Enter button on your keyboard),
    Version 21H2 (build number 19044 3086)

 

  • EA app version (EA app > Top-left Hamburger Menu > About),

    12.234.0  Latest version, it just installed today
  • The region you're from,

    El Salvador, Central America
  • Are you using an internal or external drive to play your games?

    Internal Drive 
  • Are you using an HDD or SSD?

    SSD
  • Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?

    Today, and this has happened with all games I purchased from steam that are from EA

 

  • Other error(s)?

  • If possible, share a screenshot of the Error Code or provide a recording of how exactly the Error Code presents itself (you can use YouTube or Streamable to share these),
    I'm attaching a ss of the error

IMPORTANT:

  • Please share an EA app Error Report ID with us here in the thread. Steps can be found here on how to generate this ID.
    • If you cannot open the EA app, you can still generate an Error Report ID by following the steps mentioned underneath the section called "I can't open the EA app".
  • Please share logs of the EA app, by either creating a .rar file of them and adding them to your post,
    • The EA app logs can be found in C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop\Logs & C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\Logs.

I already uninstall the game, this has happened before with some other titles purchased through Steam but made by you guys, this happened with Crysis and with Battlefield Bad Company 2. I was able to contact support on those occasions and they simply asked for a proof of payment and purchased through the Steam platform and added the same game but on Origin. Not sure why gathering logs and error codes should fix this.

Hello EA I hope I'm not annoying but I would love to play BF3 and I would like you to give a quick solution since it's not recently that this error has been occurring (it's been almost a month since the first post) and also I don't see a reason why that information they ask for can be used to solve the problem.

I saw in another post (and on twitter) how through a series of steps you can have Origin functional and through this you can play the game purchased on Steam. In that case I would say that it is even an EA App bug or something even worse, so try to fix it.

I can't even see the product key because I bought it from Steam.

And no matter how much I try to enter the product key, it doesn't work.

Please tell me the solution!!

Battlefield 3 - Can't find product key

I purchased BF3(PREMIUM EDITION) and everything was running fine. But from Past 1 month I am having issues. The issue is related to Product Key  when I click on the enter the product I get the message an error has occurred.I have uninstalled  deleted the game folder. did follow some of the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this discussion forum.. I have not been able to resolve the issue.can anyone help or suggest. other troubleshooting. steps.
