Connected Account Issues

I recently played Battlefield 3 and my clan wanted me to join their battlelog platoon and I need to connect my Xbox 360 account but I tried to join and it said wrong platform. I think i need to sign in with my account in my battlelog on the Battlefield 3 main menu but it isn't the correct email address (it is one character short). I need to know how to fix this. Please help.
