Can't Login to Crossfire with Origin Account

I had played Crossfire a long time ago & had registered with my EA Email. It's probably been a year or two since I last played on Crossfire. I've re-downloaded the game now that I have setup an Origin account. Now, when I attempt to login to the game with my Origin information I'm unable too, as I believe its wanting me to log in with my old information. Do  just need to log in with my old information, & the stats will show up in my Origin account or do I somehow need to delete my old Crossfire information so that I can start over fresh with my new Origin Account?

Account problems are outside of the working envelope for AHQ.  We are game players in here, that's all.  When it comes to sorting out account problems, you have to contact a Game Adviser on EA Help, and when you get there. ignore all the choices dangled in your face trying to get you to leave that site in favor of comng back here to AHQ.  There are no Game Advisers in here and no local mechanism for forwarding a post from here to there.
