Hi.
I'm having a problem since I updated win 10 to the lastest version (1903)...The games launchs but is just a black screen. No sound or anything, just a black screen.
I've tried everything...Reinstalling the game AND Origin client (marked the beta option, etc), reparing the game, reinstalling visual c++, frameworks, nothing.
The game does the same. I can't even play campaing, it's does the same.
Yes, I have the lastest drivers from Radeon, clean install.
Thanks.

Hey, @TerrorFront, apologies for the delayed response.
Can you try a clean boot to see if you can launch the game without any other programs running in the background? This can help pinpoint whether it could be an external process conflicting with the game launching.
Have you tried launching it from both Battlelog and the Origin client?

Are you able to launch the game successfully by right-clicking on the desktop shortcut and running it as administrator? That worked here.
Disabling Origin in-Game from your Origin client's Application Settings could help too. Does it work if you launch the game in an older Windows 10 Build?

Yes, the game opens with that method too, but is the same...I click in Battlelog, the bar says "loggin campaing", then "loading level", but is just a black screen with no sound at all. I let it load but it just crashes to desktop.
Again...is not just an online problem..I can't even play my campaing. The game used to work fine. I did nothing weird to the pc or the game, and many other games like Star wars battlefront 2, need for speed, etc, works great online and local, not a single problem. Is just Battlefield 3.

Can you upload a DxDiag for us so we can look at your system specs?

Thanks mate. Yep, that worked (the safe boot, deselecting all non microsoft services). I didn't try it online, but at least the campaign worked.
How can I know what caused the problem? I'm very suspicious on Boom3d, it's an audio enhancer, but I don't know.

Well, I think I find it, mate. After many reboots takin' on and off some services, it seems that some ICEsound Service. I really don't know why this causes a conflict, maybe something with the audio libraries, but it's weird, bacause no other game gives me problems (and I have MANY), just BF 3
Well, you hit the solution, mate, thanks a lot for your patience and help.
I leave this for others, maybe it helps.

Glad to hear it worked and that you were able to narrow it down to the root cause. See you on the battlefield!
