Battlefield 3 multi-player not working on ps3

Anyone having this problem I saw somewhere you must have a online pass first ?

Or is something else? 

Won't let me do anything screen gets dark an freezes pretty much any suggestions?

Hi @lowdownkat,you should be able to buy the online pass from the PSN store for free.

Recommend reinstalling the game if it keeps being in black screen.
