Battlefield 3 CO-OP crashes

I got a problem with the BF3 Co op,
When I play co op with my friend and I decide to exit the co op session, it still says on the other players screen that I'm still playing co-op with them even when I'm not. This seems pretty weird and it is very annoying, because the only way to fix it is to wait till the EA database realize that either me or my friend are play in gco-op anymore. Also I have to wait for me or my friend to show up in the drop down menu in co-op (where you click to invite friends) And that usually takes up to 7 or more hours..

So please if any one got any Advice or a solution Pleas post in a response.
