Low gpu usage in all battlefield games [ Edited ]

I'm using a 3900x and rtx 2070s so there is definitely no bottleneck here. I'm running the game in 1080p on ultra.

My gpu usage averages in the 60s and my frameratw isn't high as it should be(I used to get better frames in 2k). Even if I lower the settings the fps stays the same but the gpu usage drops even more. The only way I can get it to stay in the 90s is by raising the resolution scale. My drivers are up to date. I'm not using single channel ram. My cpu usage is low. This happens in battlefield games only.

Anyone have a solution?

Why is Low GPU usage a problem?

I play with a 1660ti and often it doesn't even start its fans, so even that card can handle BF1 easily.

means for me there are no bugs and other * that needs ressources for nothing.

So, I like that when a game is running on low ressources. Great work.

My cpu usage is low. I tried using a different gpu and had the same issue.

Hi @YungPutt, and by low, how much? higher resolution use more GPU then CPU that's working as intended. Looking to see if you are having a CPU bottleneck.

@YungPutt try disable SMT in BIOS.
