How Do I Unlink an Old/Disabled EA Account From Xbox Live [ Edited ]

I have an old EA account I don't remember linked to my Xbox Live account.  I started a new EA account and cannot link it to my Xbox Live.

Can I unlink from the Xbox Live side?  Or do I need to give up and just play another game?

The game will not allow me to play online without logging into EA yet I have an Xbox Live account.

Hi @Truscell This should be something EA Help should be able to try helping with. I believe that they will ask some things to confirm account ownership though, so hopefully you'll be able to give them that info.

I used the online chat with EA last night and they told me they couldn't help me and to reach out to Microsoft.

I sat in the queue for hours with them and no one assisted.

@Truscell I'm sorry to hear that. All I can suggest unfortunately is to keep trying. EA Help may be right that it's something Microsoft need to do.
