I've just purchased battlefield 1 on ps4, I am unable to connect to the online servers. I either get the message "failed to connect to ea online" or "online features will not be available please try again". I play battlefield 5 with no issues whatsoever. I have followed the online technical support guide, added ports to my router and still nothing. Please help..

Hey @kashils
Can you try restoring the game licenses in your PS4 settings, and doing a hard reset on your Console?
Select Settings > Account Management > Restore Licenses, then fully turn off your Console for 30 seconds or so and turn it back on.
Let us know if this helps.
Thanks

I have tried this solution and it hasn't worked. Is there any other way if fixing this issue.

I have BF1 on PC and have not been able to connect online either. I have contacted EA tech support twice and followed the troubleshooting steps but still not results.

dont get fooled by ea..
their servers are off / not running properly from monday morning...
it has nothing to do with licences and mac address...
the problem with ea is that they are not responsible for their business...which is of course illegal...
ea can not suppress cheaters and hackers, sometimes servers off without any relevant info from ea...
which is illegal....
but well pc gaming will die soon anyway...
