I have had a problem with the greyed-out Battlefield 1 download button for a long time. I got the game through an Amazon Prime giveaway back in July 2021. Since then, without any problems, I played it on Origin until EA App replaced it. As you can see on the screenshot it said "Your trial has ended. Buy the game or join EA Play Pro to keep playing.". I think it is because I have had an EA Play subscription in the past (also for free), i.e. after moving the library from Origin, EA App probably took a wrong edition of a BF1. Also, it is said I own only a Standard Edition of a game, but I have a full game, 4 DLCs and a Premium Pass.
I have contacted EA Support dozen times (they give recommendations and something on their side, I try, but the problem persists), reinstalled the EA App, cleared the cache, moved game directories to different drives - the result is always the same... the download button is greyed-out. Has anyone experienced this problem or seen a similar post? Or is there a particular person at EA I could contact to resolve the issue? Because every time I have contacted them there is another EA advisor the next day that gives the same recommendations and it's Groundhog Day all over again.
PS: I would be happy to finally solve this problem. Or in the end, is it just a matter of waiting for the EA App to be updated and that problem will go away by itself? But it's been half a year since it started...

So after two days, I got a reply from tech support. I gave them the link to this post, told them that the problem could be in the trial version of BF1. But their answer is the same, which I have already heard a hundred times. @ElliotLH I am asking you for help. I would appreciate it.
PS: Here is a screenshot of the EA Support Advisor's answer.

I have the same exact issue. I obtained the bf1 from the free Amazon Prime as well. I remember being able to download it from the old Origin app, but this new EA app is not even allowing me to play Battlefield 3, which I purchased back in 2013. It literally asks me for the game key, and once I enter it and click 'Next,' it gives an error message(something went wrong), which never happened with the old Origin app. This is all messed up, and it seems like nobody cares. They've just added more problems by introducing the EA App. This is the worst.:disappointed:
please let me know if you have managed to fix this.
