Greetings, today I tried BF1 for the first time. Every game I enter, it freezes after about 10-20 minutes of game in multiplayer. It did not freeze on intro game, I'm not sure how in campaign, I have yet to play it. It freezes at random, first when I was just aiming, than as someone tried to res me, than during a spawn choice screen, overall it froze like 7 times. It feels completely random, but always happened in the middle of multiplayer game - never at the end screen nor menu. Usually sound disappears too, but it stayed once.
My specs:
Nvidia GTX 970
Intel Core i7-6700K
16 GB ram
64-bit Windows 10
No overclocking.
What's even dumber is that Battlefield 2042 worked flawlessly on free weekend, and BF1 can't...
Things I tried and failed:
- Updating GPU drivers
- Verifying game files
- Setting all graphical settings to minimum
- trying All possible combinations of visual settings (HDR options, windowed/full screen, FPS limiter, and more. I only have not tried disabling GPU usage limiter, because description said it will become even more unstable, and have not tried downscale resolution, as I don't feel like it's a problem of performance. After trying different stuff 7 times I do not have strenght to try again, at least not today.)
- Clean system start
- Disabling Origin overlay
- restarting whole PC between each try.
I'm sorry if it has been asked and solved, but I have not found anything that would solve this issue for me.
