Hi all,
I recently purchased Battlefield 1 for PC through Steam, and though I am enjoying it very much there is a recurring issue.
At some point during nearly every multiplayer game my character will begin to move in a single direction and I can't control anything.
As expected I become a sitting duck for the enemy and die very soon.
From that point onwards I cannot interact with the game, e.g. I can't redeploy or open the menu.
It's similar to how games used to behave 10+ years ago if one alt-tabbed to the desktop, as if the game isn't registering that it's now the active window/program.
I've got a suspicion it's related to the Origin overlay/client, so I've deactivated all sounds and notifications from there, and prevented the Origin overlay from being active during gameplay.
I've also made it so that I open Origin and BF1 as an administrator, but the issue still recurs.
Many thanks

Hey, @JonnyWorsley make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.
You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield 1 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
Let me know if this works or not for you.
