perhaps this will help - the problem started after some troubles with cloud saves...because i tried to turn it on/off

The same problem. I click on the start icon in Origin, the button goes grey and freezes a lot of system processes, game not starts. Only reboot saves me.

You used his account on your machine? Then it seems to be an account problem.

Try to contact EA directly so a game advisor can have a look at your account.

If you are not from the US change the country in the top right corner.

I temporary used his account for testing the Trial Version of the game which worked for me. But I bought the game and want to use the full version of course. I contacted support yesterday and they said it's all ok with the game and origin, which is not as you can see in the logs.

I'm having the same issue here.

UAC Disabled

Overlay Disabled

Firewall Disabled

Whitelisted Programs

Ran as Admin

Uninstalled and Reinstalled

Cleared Cache

Updated all Drivers

Tried Stable and Beta version of Origin

And still all I get play button greys out for a few seconds then game doesn't launch.

Hi, now it works. I don't know why but i think its because i uninstalled all display drivers with DDU and only installed the display drivers from october 17 for my GPU through windows update. Its not the latest driver but after that it works now. Maybe there is a bug in the new nvidia drivers?

This is the biggest joke of a thread ever lol.. gotta spend hours just to OPEN the game with 0 statements from EA besides sending you to their useless troubleshooting page.
