Game not reading controller

I have a Buffalo Classic USB Gamepad as my controller for PC. Does A Way Out not support this controller?

On the Origin site, it only says it supports Xbox or Playstation compatible controller.  So is that controller compatible with Xbox or PS??

@JAYBEECEEE As @mcsupersport said, the game support Xbox and PlayStation compatible controllers so you may run into issues if using others. Have you checked for any driver updates for your controller?

Try running the game from Steam as a non Steam Game.
