Controller not working

Hi

has anyone managed to get the game working with a controller?

I have 2 ps4 controller (wireless), none of which is working

Will have to refund, i guess if this issue isnt resolved

Try starting the game from Steam Library as a non Steam game. Worked for me. Will test further today on my Steam Link too and report here.

yea, sorry, forgot to mention
im on PC, via Origin and it seems origin doesnt have any support for Directinput controllers like Steam and Uplay do

Not natively, no, but the game is the deciding factor. At least there are players on FIFA 18 who claim to play with a PS4 controller.

Try to plug the controller in after you started the game.

If that don't works only a third party input wrapper will help you here.

I'm on PC streaming over a Steam Link. To the Steam Link I connected an Xbox One PC controller via cable and a PS4 Pad via Bluetooth. Both controllers can be used to make a selection in the main menu, but not to actually start the game (sign in as the second player).

Also I didn't see a way for the first player to choose a different controller than Keyboard and Mouse, I wonder if that only works if I unplug both of them?

I'm hoping something can be patched here to get this working.

You seem to suggest to use an Xbox Controller Emulator, I'm just really confused why the native Xbox One controller isn't even working right now. Because of Steam Link streaming really? Everything other game I threw at this set up so far worked fine I think.

To clarify, I can even use both of the gamepads to:

* Select Local Game from the Main Menu
* Then I see the Game Start screen for Player One and Player Two
* Player One always has keyboard and mouse selected and I see my profile name
* For Player Two it shows an icon of the A button
* Pressing A on either game pad does nothing
* Pressing B on the Xbox One Pad or Circle on the PS4 pad work to bring me back to the main menu

So I'm wondering/hoping that this might just be some weird bug and it's not an issue with the developers' controller support.

Everything works fine for me both on PC and on Steam Link. Tried all input combos even on Steam Link. Works just fine(Even the hints[except PS4 buttons of course, most games only support Xbox hints]). I don't know what issue DonSoleone encounters with the controllers. I can only tell you to start the game from Steam Library as a non Steam Game. If you have any others questions or trouble feel free to ask here and i will be glad to help!

dont know about steam link, but both my ps4 controllers now work via steam/big picture

Yeah on PC they should work fine...even without launching the game from Steam
