Audio crackling when playing a way out, but nothing else.

I gave my friend pass to my wife and whenever she plays she hears a constant crackling noise through the speakers, we tried switching headsets and it persists. It does not crackle during any other games or music or web browsing. only A way out. any help would be appreciated.
