Rampaging Werewolves and toddlers a nice combination?

While playing the sims yesterday I discovered a cute thing. If there is a toddler near a rampaging werewolf, the toddler will have a playful moodlet that will allow them to hug the werewolf with the Hug the Soft Doggie interaction.
I specify that the toddler is also a werewolf, so maybe it only affects these babies and not the regular ones. I found this very funny and sweet.

@LadyAofPineapple Unfortunately no... but the interaction never fails, the rampaging werewolf will always hug the toddler back.

It makes me a little less petrified of them. I have one solo werewolf as I deleted all the ones I could find, I just wanted the content without the fluffy terror.

@simsplayer818 you can limit werewolves to the mill town (you will only see them in other towns in human form), as well as disabling the fury appearance. You can play them however you want, as good citizens, even! They will naturally be despised if others find out, but you can use certain social interactions to improve relationships. I even have a vampire/werewolf couple, definitely had the enemies-to-lovers trope happening though! haha

@LadyAofPineapple Yeah I'm glad I could do that, I didn't do it straight away so I had to go through and find all the Werewolves I could and delete them. I ended up with one new pack leader spawning. I edited her, disabled Fury Effect and moon effects. She appeared at a family Sulani camping trip during a full moon but in human form but nothing happened and she just stood there. She's joined a few Sim conversations in public places too and been friendly.
I also got rid of the bar in Moonwood Mill because werewolf bartenders kept spawning.
I do like the pack content a lot but the thing I love most about it is the build mode music, it's absolutely beautiful. I turn it up to listen to it.
I get groups of teens to visit Moonwood Mill during full moons on dares now to see if anything happens but it's been very tame...so far!

Many simmers would know this but just in case you didn’t know, sims can craft their own guitars and violins on the woodwork table, and enjoy playing music on these instruments themselves.

@rosemow would a combination of the instrument skill and handiness be needed to create these instruments?

You do need to be both at level 8 in Handiness skill and level 8 in the guitar or violin skills to have these options on the woodworking table @OliverWilken

Woodwoking is one hobby I've not yet had any of my sims try. Maybe I'll let my sim Elliott try it.

This was one of the many threads I used to follow in the forums, and full of so much information. I hope we don’t lose all that knowledge. One of my favourite memories from that thread happened when I read about the special gameplay moodlets and the hidden trait (lighthouse baby) from the lighthouse. That post inspired me to very quickly start a new save specifically to go and experience these moodlets and trait with that family becoming the base of a legacy of many generations of lighthouse babies.

I guess it's only me who is that oblivious but I only found out recently (after over 9 years) that my Sims can be left or right handed! ^^'

I only found out about 6 of them, but Vlad, Saiwa, Kiyoshi and Ji Ho are right handed and Jack and Jeb are left handed :3

First I tried to find out by letting them write something (because playing darts takes them forever ^^') but there are actions all Sims do with their right or left hand 🫱 🫲

Like writing, eating or painting.
(Jack on the left is usually left handed but writes with his right hand)

They also all eat with the right hand

But brush their teeth with the left hand
(Saiwa and Vlad are right handed)
