Canto Bight Heist won't work

Hi, not sure what's going on, have got recruits ready, click to fly (and include them) to Canto, and then the action circle completes but no one has boarded and the mission has not been completed. Anyone know how to fix this?

I am wanting to buy The Sims™ 4 Growing Together dlc so I seen it at the cheapest price on the ea site, but when I click the Buy Now it takes me to the PlayStation site and the price has now changed higher! £17 to £31!

is it possible to make an event last longer?

I know I can delete or not attend an event.

And I'm not talking about an event that lasts all day.

But sometimes I feel like I dont have enough time to get through it all, to get gold.

Like, when my sim doesnt do what i want her/him to do, they waste time, and therefore I want to know if I can make it last longer...

Nudity in Cherished Moments photo

So my sim went on a blind date and they swam in her pool. Since it was a good date, she got a reward but in the photo, she is topless. I have custom content and mods on but nothing to enable nudity. I have clothes cc and basic mods like making ceiling lights invisible. So again, no idea how this could've possibly happened. They went skinny dipping but obviously, they were blurred pixels. My sim is female, body and all so it's not like it's a man's chest either. I blurred the attached photo, but you can see what's going on. Is this not a concerning bug??

Which dining chairs can be put in the sim's/chest's inventory

So I wanted to have portable dining chairs and tables that my household can use if they throw a party and can be put away after that. I've found a portable table. For chairs, I've tried many "foldable" chairs but none of them can be put away. Any ideas on this? Thanks in advance.

Can't Exam Pets

I just had my Sim try out the vet skill and try to exam a sick pet on her home lot. She was unable to do it. After searching online I came across some info that said you couldn't use the exam table on home lots, only vet clinics. So I had her buy a vet clinic, but she was still unable to exam pets. I tried searching some more on this problem but all I found was a problem with examining pets where the pet would reset/ the exam table would immediately go down again after going up. That is not the problem I'm having.

When I do it, the pet goes on the table and then my Sim will just stand there moving side to side a little, sometimes touching her chin like she's thinking and saying "hmm" and "ahhh" but the progress bar for the exam never goes up. She could stand there all day until her needs deplete and the sim day is over and never get any progress from the exam. Only once I saw a little bit of green on the progress bar (like maybe 10%), and I got excited thinking it was working but then nothing else happened after that. Her needs depleted again.

I hired an NPC vet, and the vet could do the exam just fine. The hired vet can exam and bill 2-3 pets while my sim just stands there with the first one. One thing I noticed when the NPC vet does examinations is that they pull out various tools to check the pet. My playable sim never does that. Another thing I noticed is that the hired vet will take a long time to get the next patient, but at least they'll do it.

I deleted my mods folder, deleted localthumbcache, repaired the game and tried it both on my existing save and a new save, and my sims are still not able to exam pets. By the way, it's been a while since I last visited this forum and I can't find how to do a bug report anymore so that's why I'm posting this here.

Change the lot for the Police Station?

I was wondering if there was any way to reassign the lot used for any of the Get To Work workplaces. I'm wanting to have the RPD from RE2R as a functional police station, but the existing lots in the gallery are too big for the police station lot, and I've tried to make it from scratch but it just would look weird and wouldn't be properly functional at that scale.

I'm okay with using a mod or cheats if need be, but I was just wondering if anyone had actually tried to do something like this. Thank you!

Birthmarks and skin details

I am having a problem where I have never had a baby in the sims born with a birth mark or skin details like freckles. I'm seeing that people do get these on their babies. I do have a couple of mods, but even when I uninstall them, the problem remains. Any ideas?

Bought Sims4 before it was free and didn't receive any compensation.

After the mess that was the Lovestruck patches and update, I was and still very am hesitant to get the new August 8th patch update because I'm seeing that some players are experiencing messed up CC lashes and because the CC lashes I have are from creators who don't make CC anymore, I don't want to update just yet before I find replacements.

I read some tutorials for how to go offline and how I should be seeing 3 horizontal lines in the left corner of the EA app, but those are from 2022 or 2023, so maybe the EA app layout has changed since then?

I've never played offline before, so I'm still trying to figure if a) I can with the EA app and b) where that would be.

Does Tray Folder size matter? 🤔

Hi, I just wondering if the number of files in the Tray folder matters.

I mean, I'm always building new things but sometimes I have a lot of unfinished or WIP in the library, plus I've been saving quite a few Sims over time, so I have almost 19,000 items now but I'm trying to delete some because I'm a little bit worried about how much is too much (?)

Does the size of the Tray folder affect the game's performance in any way?
My game & PC are perfectly fine (over requirements), I was just wondering cos I don't want to think about it.
How many Tray items/files do you have?

Nectar Making Skill and Micro Homes

I have a sim living in a micro home, and all of their other skills speed upward fast, except the nectar-making skill, which seems to go at the rate it would within a regular residential lot. Or am I missing something?

I can't give my hamster its anti-aging treat

Hello everyone, I'm sorry to bother you guys. I'm resuming the game with my little daughter, and I was notified that our hamster is aging... It catches my attention because in the game settings I have aging disabled, both for the Sims and for the animals, but it seems that that doesn't affect the rodents.

I bought the anti-aging treats at the vet and through the computer, but I don't know how to give it to my hamster. The game only gives me the option to place in the world or send to inventory, nothing more. Is there a way to do that? I have no additional mods or anything that could interfere with the game's behaviour. Just my saved game. When I click on the hamster, it shows me the typical options to play with it or talk to it, but there's nothing related to the anti-aging treat.

Maybe, I don't know, is there a secret code in the game to prevent the hamster from dying? My kid is freaking out (we lost our pet a few months ago, and now this... it triggers our emotions, you know). Thank you very much in advance and have a very nice Monday everyone!

Auto Save on sims4

Why isn’t there an auto save on sims 4???

I just lost half of my game because the game crashed, it is annoying to have to manually save as it takes up gaming time and can be easily forgotten to do..

Giving Sims a Key

Sul! Sul! OK. It does not make sense to me that even if you give a Sim a Key to your residence, you still have to keep the door unlocked or they cannot enter. Shouldn't that be the entire point of giving a Sim a Key? That would be a nice little update; unless it's already happened. Haven't tested it in a bit.
