Court Battle mode freezes

COURT BATTLES

I was told my game had corrupted data on it, I deleted it from the system storage, rebooted the console and ever since, everytime I try and play a match on Court Battle mode it freezes, I have been forced to delete all the save data and re-install the NBA Live 19 game twice now and start all over again, only to discover that the Court Battle mode freezes again. Has this happened to anybody else?.

NBA 19 XONE Franchise Mode - second controller doesn't work (SOLVED!)

Hello!

I had issues with Franchise mode in NBA 19 on Xbox one. Problem was when i tried to play franchise mode with my friend. When we were selecting sides before match, second controller was visible but it was not reacting. Controller only worked when i exit franchise mode. In every other mode controller worked just fine, in menus also.

So, if you have this issue, here is the solution!

1. Start game with both controllers on

2. Select franchise mode

3. In window where you can select saved franchise, disconnect from internet, before choosing saved game

4. Go back to game, or wait untill nba loses internet connection

5. You can see internet connection issue notification

6. Second controller must press A to select "Ok" in internet connection error notification

7. Now second controller is already working and you can proceed to franchise mode

8. Play game

While I’m playing “the one” I get drafted but the other teams don’t draft their normal players. Teams just pick random players instead of the players they original picked. Is there a way to fix this? I’m trying to play on the Mavs but Luka gets drafted top 3 everytime.

Hello,

After a several month break, I decided to play NBA Live 19 again and after many updates, I finally got back playing "The One" mode.

The problem is that there are no players to purchase under the "Court battle items" section in the One store.

However, there are still all the other store sections filled with items, but nothing in court battles.

Anyone has the same issue ?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Purchase a temporary item from the one store, such as seasonal items like the ribs halloween shirt, or the white bapester sneakers. Once The One Store is updated and the items are cycled out, the items also disappear from your inventory.
What happens when the bug occurs? After 1.12 I lost the bapesta sneakers (disappeared from my inventory, lost 50,000 RP) and after 1.13 I lost the ribs shirt (disappeared from my inventory, lost 30,000 RP)
What should be happening instead? Items remain in inventory after removed from The One store
How severe is the bug? B - Major

I didn’t gather any screenshots, but I did note the cost of each item (50,000 RP for the low top white Bapestas, 30,000 RP for ribs Halloween shirt). I also chatted with Logan at @EAHelp on Twitter, who told me to post here to let you all know of the bug, but also pursue a possible refund or have the items returned to inventory. Is it possible to have the items added back to inventory, or RP refunded?

This is the 2nd time in 2 months my game has crashed and got a corrupted file.

1st time EA said they can do nothing because I didn't have anything saved in the cloud and gave me steps on how to back up so it doesn't happen again. Ok, that makes sense even though its your game that crashed and it should be your job to keep progress or at the very least help us by providing some credits of some kind back (even 2K for god sake even does this).

2nd time, corrupted file again. Unbelievable. But again whatever, I been backing up my game EVERY DAY for the past month. So I go to restore the saved data from my PSN Cloud and when booting up the game it crashes. Wow.

So I contact support and he explained that the save files I have been corrupted and that's why it crashes. OK. So I use a saved file from last week and when booting up the game it doesn't pull up any data. Starts as if this my first time playing.

So I did what they asked me to do by backing up my data and still nothing.

that's 4 Level 100 players erased, TONS OF GEAR that are no longer available and millions of in game currency. All I get from the support is "I'm sorry I know its frustrating". And iv'e talked to probably 5 different support advisors and they all give me the same slab on sympathy word for word "I play Fifa and I know i'd be frustrated if I lost all my data as well", WORD FOR WORD. Its a copy and paste support they don't give a *.

Days later and im still trying to restore my data without help of anyone from EA. I work for Apple Support for a year and the help I get from EA is disgusting. No help no care in the world they got our money and it stops at that. * YOU

The three-point shooting is atrocious when live first launch the three-point shooting was much better I don't know what yeah I did but you truly screwed it up you could be wide open and it still says the shot and you still get a notification saying the shot was contested and you do not get a green release often and why does your yellow bar disappear there is some serious issues with the shooting it needs to be addressed I don't know if you're paying attention to this or not but someone needs to fix this as a 95 overall three-point shooter I should have better success as shouldn't 3-ball than what I do gold Badges and all what have you done to the shooting this is the point of Basketball taking difficult shots and hitting them under duress

What happens when the bug occurs? every green puts you at neutral mentality even if you were maxed on mentality boost or has a little positive mentality. Every green release sets you back to zero. This also happens if you have negative mentality

I had 82 points 13 rebounds and 7 blocks then this happened, causing me to lose all of the stats and xp from that game. This especially upsets me because I’m grinding to level 100 and that would’ve given me three levels.

I just run with the AI player and I get contested shot. I hate this! I get my player out. I get my 3pt * up. My players eyes are feets over the defending players hand and they get contested shot? What?! Even worse it is when the defending player is five inches shorter and just crouches in front of me as I go to a jump shot / 3pt and contested shot "You miss a outside contested shot". IT IS NOT CONTESTED IF YOU AREN'T ON HIS FACE WITH THE HAND!!! And my players contested shot skill is 88. It is not like he is bad shooting over contested shots? His 3pt is 90!! I miss every time if the defending player is closer than four feets.
What should be happening instead? If you alge and you don't get to the shooter it shouldn't affect/be a shot contest.

i have counterstrike in silver currently the game is only acknowledging that ive done 2/25. I haven't been able to resolve this issue with the ea help centre, even though they provided me with loads of troubleshooting to go through.

Even though playoff events are featured on the home screen, when I press it they don't appear.

This is as a result has meant I have missed out on whole gear sets and the XP and money that comes along when playing a game.

I’ve been recently playing NBA live 19 none stop. Every time I play online there is always a short wait, which is awesome. I have 2k20 and wait to play online can take over an hour if you are lower overall. Thank you, EA for good online matchmaking. NBA Live 19 has been out for a year and a half and I still have no problem playing. People still playing NBA live 19, I know that because every time I want to play live-run 3vs3 there is 5 minutes or less wait for me. NBA 2k20 has better visuals of players, dribbling, shooting, and a decent sorry mode. Personally, I think Live has a better half time show, dribbling, dunking, and online matchmaking. Please EA give the community another NBA live game. Maybe NBA LIVE it's not a perfect a game so as 2k but there are fans like myself that enjoy playing it to this day. Please give the community some info of what the next NBA LIVE game will look like.

So I just recently switched back to nba live 19 from nba 2k and I love the game I just thought I would contact ea for suggestions I would like to see in NBA live 20.

First and foremost, you guys have to integrate a Nike recreation league like nba 2k has the Jordan rec league. And change the draft in my career to when you do get drafted the real rookie who were drafted there in reality are still on the team.

The Nike league would be exactly like live run but you'll have home and away uniforms and always played in a Nike gym. Stats, win and loses are tracked.

I would love to see real life over the back fouls and traveling violations as well.

As far as gameplay real life crossovers would take this game to the next level. Also the dunks and layups I would like to see being more realistic depending on the situation of the defense.

Also falling from a crossover in the NBA is seldom but it does happen more often from a good crossover. Make it to where if they fall or stumble they can't recover or play defense so easily. I a few more ideas as well. This game will be awesome if they do it correctly! Also make it possible to crossover the AI on any level and also stop them on any level. It's sometimes impossible to stop them.

Real life deflections as well. Add more icon superstars and player types when creating players. Ex. Penny hardaway, Charles barkley-small post player, Dell curry- bench scorer, Tracey mcgrady - athletic wing etc.

Ranked match mode was too difficult to me now, so I want to play against AI until I get better with the same rule as ranked match mode.

I contacted Microsoft Xbox One support and they told me that I need to contact EA GAMES for a support.

I tried to buy a game in USA region wit a card and paypal but I could not purchase it. Microsoft returned error message. I read on internet that currency of a region should match my countries currency so I switched xbox account region to Germany.

I successfully bought a game NBA LIVE 2019 in Germany region and game language is german. I dont understand german. I cannot find a way to change language to English. I uninstalled it, changed MS xbox one account region to United Kingdom. Reinstalled NBA LIVE 2019. It is still in german. That game is useless for me if it is not in English.

The game makes the free throws impossible to make and it’s really annoying, I put the sliders all the way up and I still miss the free throw even with Curry or JJ redick. As of right now, I’ve been turning the shooting fouls off so I don’t have to miss all the time.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to view a reward for a game and if there is a animation crate it will get stuck for a while. Even at store it will cuz a slow down as well.
What happens when the bug occurs? Screen will get stuck for 10 secs and you have to move away from crate to get unstuck. It becomes laggy from animation, possible from to many frames per second.
What should be happening instead? Should be able to view animation crates and be smooth without a delay like when you look at clothes.

I love to see animations in game and at time when you offer animations like from cream biggums or other they get stuck while viewing them because they take a longer time to load up. If you guys can reduce the frames per second and smooth out animation for animation crates it would help to scoll though all of the rewards just to view them much faster instead of getting snagged on animation to load for 10 secs then if you move around and land on it again it will get slowed down again.

Also in animations for editing player animation they also slow down as well. I think they should be able to play without animation taking up so much resources that they take a long time to show...

U guys were making the right moves in the right directions. I’ve always told ppl that look wise..u guys killed 2k Nd they still to this day look cartoonish. I love u guys Nd this game! Nd still dominating on 19😁 But I have great ideas for NBA live 20 that would set u guys up for success for the future with NBA LIVE ND THE FANS all over for ur game that I think u guys would love to hear. Ever since NBA live run came out on the Dwight Howard edition of NBA Live Nd even create a Legend Came out on the Tony Parker edition I think on nba live 9, I was intrigued With how u was able to use any nba superstar either on story or live run Nd play with them. U guys kinda went away from it on live 18 Nd 19 Nd I would like to see “ Create a legend” to be able to use them on franchise mode to play with ur favorite superstar again Nd make a come back to a future NBA live game. Spend points, upgrade icon, equip traits, animations and so forth (be sure to max the ICON skill and use remaining points on any other skills). The created player's overall will increase accordingly. After spending skill points, go to outfits and equip a new outfit. Back out to the main menu and you will notice that that all the points have been reset except for the ICON skill.
What happens when the bug occurs? Once the bug is triggered, all 50 points spent on the fast forward character are refunded, however, the ICON skill will still be maxed at 85. This results in additional points to spend (11 more points than what should be available at LVL 50). Once the character hits lvl 100 with primary icon maxed, primary icon skill maxed, primary and secondary skills maxed and 3 gold traits, the overall for this character is 96 instead of 99. However, if I switch to the secondary icon which has not been leveled at all and max that secondary icon skill. The overall is 99. The end result is that a lvl 100 character with all skills maxed, gold traits and a gold primary icon has an overall of 96 while the secondary icon with max icon skill will be a 99 overall even if the secondary icon has no upgrades unlocked.
What should be happening instead? A max level character with max icon/traits/skills should be 99 overall. A completely un-upgraded icon path should not confer a higher overall than a maxed one.

In this image you can see my Floor General is LVL 100 with 5 attribute points in the bank. He has the POINT GAWD icon equipped and MAESTRO icon is showing an overall of 90 at BRONZE level. Rebounding is already maxed so I cannot spend the 5 points I currently have.

In this image my Floor General has MAESTRO equipped and as you can see the POING GAWD icon is maxed at gold but is somehow 3 pts lower at 87 even though MAESTRO is not maxed.

I suspect the root of the issue has to do with the moment the points are reset after changing the outfit. the full 50 pts are refunded and the player's overall drops back down to 70 but the primary icon skill is still maxed. Points that would have been spent on that icon skill can never be spent and applied to the player's overall.

Like the NBA draft, WNBA draft and the NBA free agency have came and gone and it still not updated Kd still on Golden State, Kyrie still with Boston etc No Zion is even in the game. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? There is a promo being run for a 91 Tony Parker that you buy in packs. The card is glitching to the 86 Parker throwback. It originally had higher numbers yesterday morning and has now changed to the lower numbered 86 card. This shows in game as well in the team management screen. I have tried listing the item at auction hoping to reset it to no avail. I have included a picture of both cards. The 91 had a Hornets logo yesterday on it that changed to a Spurs logo and all the numbers dropped to the 86 except for the overall. All numbers previous glitch Spd88 Drb88 Mid85 Post? Bug Fix

Memory corruption fix for players with 5 CAPs.

Gameplay Tuning
Based off community feedback:

Upped defensive impact to shots
1. Good defensive positioning will be rewarded by affecting jump shots more.
Introducing a ball hog penalty
1. If a user “hogs” the ball for an excessive period, shots will be penalized. A major shot penalty will kick in if the user continues to ball hog.
2. This is only for user player jump shots in Live Run.
Bigger players will play contact shots against smaller players less often.
1. This will result in more clean looks and makes for bigger players (when going up against smaller players)
More impact for lower-rated players on contact layups.
1. This results in lower-rated players missing more layups with contact
Increased chances to make cleaner layups and shots around the rim
1. Fewer clean layups missed from light contests
Improved ball handling vs. collisions
1. Higher-rated ball handlers will only pick up the ball from too many collisions or being super low on short-term stamina.
