i just bought the 3 dlc cars on my ps4, the download started but then it stayed on waiting to install. In the in-game dealership it still says unlocked with car pack, and the cars i got where the range rover, chevy pick up and alfa romeo... how do i get the cars to install

It's cos I've entered special events even though I ain't got enough gold to help me and just done it basically to get the 3 materials and 2 rebuilds to go towards the 9 challenges as I always make sure I get about 12/14 challenges, turns over about 34 gold.

When I first got it I was addicted and spend quite a few quid on it, I think I'm VIP level 7 or 8.

Is there any way of deleting your cars? See I have a problem where I cannot do like 2/3 underground rivals races because it picks a car that is grayed out/unfinished for road.

Even like in the campaign races where you get blueprints on, the only one I can play is for the BMW M5, I only need 7 more BP's then that's done but these cars, my garage is full of high spec cars that I can't use until more BP's, and I am right in thinking I can't enter a special event for that car if I already have BP's for it so it's there but not enough to use it?

Here's one's where I need BP's for but can't even race for them as ain't got enough to use the bloody car., you could a few weeks ago but not no more. I hope nothing changes until I've finished my BMW M5 though...

I’ve been having this issue as well. I’ve repurchased the Koenigsegg twice already and have given up at this point. It’s extremely frustrating because not only do you lose the car, you lose the money you spent on the car to buy it and customize it. I’m not sure what else to do but it makes me second guess playing this game, for sure. What a waste of time.

Actually I do have an nvidia card but reinstalling the physx patch from September 2019 cleared the crash to desktop problems on career start. So thanks for the idea. Much better the videos telling me to get a hack from pirate bay, lol. Seriously thanks, I love this game.

Play around with the settings in the 3D Settings, Manage 3d Settings section of the NVIDIA control panel, the following settings will have an effect on this:

Anisotropic filtering
Antialiasing
DSR - Factors
Multiframe sampled AA
Texture filtering

Don't worry about messing things up, you can always click on Restore Defaults at the top right (always click Apply too)

Scariest Thing I’ve Ever Experienced In a Game

So I was playing NFS Payback which I’ve beat and I’ve been going through trying to beat all the roaming racers, and I had been trying to beat the boss on hazard company for an hour and couldn’t do it so I upgraded my car and came back to the racer he was stuck in this weird sort of glitched loop falling off a cliff on the map, so I decided ok it should fix if I start the race. So I started the race, but he just kept falling and the game kept starting me right off near the edge of the same cliff falling off over and over and just when I thought I would be stuck there the game made its little default noise for resetting your car and then went to a completely black screen for 15 seconds. Part of what freaked me out - no loading symbol nothing, just a completely black screen making no noise, then it reset in this really odd creepy distorted view looking up at the sky in the game but it was very fuzzy, and my controller started vibrating in my hand at maximum vibration amount and wouldn’t stop for a good 15 seconds, which is when I started to get very scared a freaked out. All while the in game camera had nothing on the screen and was just stuck pointing at the sky. I don’t remember for sure but I think at one point it changed from a blue sky to a yellow sky next to a telephone pole in the desert. Then at this point I was so freaked out that I just pressed my home button on my Xbox and decided tic start recording with my phone, so when I went back into the game it vibrated for like another 10 seconds while facing the sky, then my car showed up like I was starting the race but it was like stopping and starting and the graphics were crap for a few seconds and the game started lagging out. And then of course it went back to normal after a minute but I had respawned on the complete other side of the map, yet it still said my race was going. Then of course it dq’ed me since I was so far. But the weird thing to me was how it went completely black and then just changed to the background of the sky in the game while my controller was vibrating making weird noises. After that now my controller won’t connect to my Xbox and a light just flashes back and forth on it which could be from a multitude of other things but... anyway if anyone has any ideas why it did this please tell, I was like shaking while writing this message since I was so stirred up. I’ll try to post what was recorded on the Xbox capture I took after I figure out what’s wrong with my controller. Thanks lmao, peace racers. this does sometimes happen, as you stage up you sometimes find that the acceleration and nitro stat will go up but the top speed will go down (or any combination of 2 up, 1 down) this will initially result in a lower overall pr when you first stage up, but when you level up the individual parts on the car the pr will jump back up significantly

So i want to disable controller input with origin. Why you may ask? Well i have a PS3 controller that is not fully supported by NFS 2015, you can only drive using the joysticks. What i did to play with a controller then? I linked my controller buttons to keyboard buttons using AntiMicro. Before i further explain my problem i have to explain something else

To drive in NFS 2015 with a PS3 controller without AntiMicro you would have to push forward the left joystick and to a certain direction to accelerate and steer

to reverse you would push back the joystick and obviously to the direction you want to reverse to

Those are the only controls i have without using AntiMicro.

now what happens is that the AntiMicro controller map interferes with the NFS 2015 controls, so if i'm steering and accidentally move my joystick a slight bit down i start spinning around and it's super annoying

Therefore, i want an option to disable controller input with specific games in origin

does anyone know how to fix the infamous issue of falling through the map in need for speed.

at certain parts of the map, especially on the highways, the textures dont load fast enough for my car and i end up falling into the void and having to wait for up to 2 minutes sometimes for the road to load and for me to respawn. this has been happening for a solid 2 years and this point. i have scoured every forum out there looking for a solution and so far all i can tell is its an issue with the engine itself (frostbite 3) and that there is no known fix, however many of the forums havent been updated for years. does anyone have any clue how to fix this issue cos its made the game borderline unplayable for years. PS. i've tried the shadowplay fix, ive changed settings for the rendering options and i know it isnt a problem with my hard drive speed, and unlike what some people are suggesting it has nothing to do with internet speed as its related to game files saved locally.

I have a suggestion around soundtracks in Fifa.

I was thinking of maybe adding old Fifa soundtracks to the games as a add on within the game because I know that I would love to play new Fifa games with some of the old soundtracks as it would bring a nostalgia element to a up to date game.

I'm not 100% certain on the other community opinions but I know I would gladly pay a fee of around £3 for a Fifa 15 soundtrack or a Fifa 2004 soundtack etc. for example.

This issue popped back up on me when my son needed to get a new ps4, he had purchased cod and 2k digitally and got this effin error everytime he tried to download them. Switched out ps4s, bought physical copies of the games....still the updates would give this message......was done with sony until I came across this article, was skeptical but do exactly what it says. The hardest part is changing the programs language from chinese to american but once u figure that out, its literally just having this program run while you download something that give you an error and it fixes it......just do this and thank me later....i just skipped ahead and downloaded the download helper, it works great

I purchased the game a week ago and it freeze in the first Reguera race, the car falls off the map, the rivals doesn't show...

I've already deleted the game files and reinstalled, but it just run in my brother's account.

So, does anyone know how to get this car? I am a big fan of OverWatch, this was always my favorite game. I have played for 2-3 years, and it was very interesting. It was pretty difficult, but I have found a cheap sr boosting and solved this problem. I think that OverWatch is the best game that I have ever played on my pc. I have a lot of memories related to that game, it was amazing. That's why I want to try OverWatch in Need For Speed Rivals. I have no idea what it is, but I really wanna try it, guys.

I have recently started playing Need for Speed 2016 again after a year brake or so and it is pretty much impossible to get anything done in this game because I am constantly getting the same error as shown on the photo enclosed.

It always freezes the game while entering a race, after the race when statistics show up or while looking around the map for race locations. Sometimes (very rarely) I am able to play for and hour or two no problem but most of the time it crashes the game 3 or 4 times before I manage to complete a single race. Today for example I launched it around 00:30 and turned it off at 2:00 and within this time it managed to crash 9 times.

When I purchased it back in 2017 I had no problems at all with it and right now it just became unplayable. I should mention I am playing on exactly the same PC as I did back in the day when I purchased it. The only difference is graphics card, previously I had AMD Radeon HD 7990 and currently I have Nvidia GTX 1080. I have searched pretty much everywhere but couldn't find a solution and those which I did manage to find didn't work at all.

I have tried compatibility mods, I have tried reinstalling directx, I have tried reinstalling graphics card drivers with clean installation, I have tried changing graphics settings within the game but absolutely nothing helps.

My PC specs:

Intel Core i7 Quad Core Processor i7-4770

ASUS Z87-A ATX

16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 8GB

WIndows 10 Pro 64 Bit

Any ideas EA? or are you just going to ignore this because I have seen other people with similar error and no solution.

Keyboard trouble! im played in NFS like 2 years ago and everything work good. Today i downloaded game again and get a bug with game control. Every button works like Acceleration and Brake dont work too. After that im connected a gamepad and everything works fine, im verified game files, reload a game and checked settings like 10 times, nothing happend. For god sake just tell me what to do. I'm one step away from a nervous breakdown!

This issue has been going on for over 5 years since the game first came out, and I have been trying to work with EA to try and get this fixed for over 2 years without success (check out my thread on the issue) https://answers.ea.com/t5/Need-for-Speed-Rivals/Need-for-speed-rivals-xbox-one-loading-screen-freeze/td-p/2061329

So far best fix is to disconnect your xbox's internet connection, whether it be WIFI or hard wired, and start the game. Once your in the game you can then try connect your xbox back to the internet. No matter what the game will come up, load and play 100% without issues offline. Hope this helps you!

I now believe this is actually a design element of the game. While I have been able to finish the main game storyline, it has been an exercise in frustration and this ridiculous artificial handicap heavily detracted from the enjoyment.

I cannot imagine why the developers thought this was a good idea, the game is certainly challenging enough without the added difficulty of crippling the steering, but after sampling some other versions of NFS it appears to be a common element throughout the franchise. I realize that I am in the minority of players who find this 'feature' undesireable after reading similar threads and seeing such immensely helpful replies as "git gud" and "I ran through on HARD and didn't even hit another car and blah blah blah", but I suspect there are quite a number of other potential customers who, upon finding the game beyond their abilities, simply returned the it and bought something else. I, for one, will not be purchasing Heat as I have had quite enough frustration.

Thank you for replying so quickly. I should have mentioned that the tv was already in game mode, it was on of the first things I checked after perusing the web for similar complaints.

I don’t *think* this is a refresh rate issue, it is observable even when there is no load on the system and the car is sitting still. It seems as though the game is set in keyboard mode and the analogue stick is being treated like a digital pad with no proportional input.

Thanks again for the assistance. I would really like to get this resolved. Aside from this frustration, I love the game - the graphics and, in particular the sounds, are outstanding. The V8 limping away at idle is practically musical.
I want to buy Heat but only if I can be certain I won’t be dealing with this situation.

All license deal are made to be valid for a limited time(few years)After part of license expires(such as music/cars) dev has to either drop the game or drop the music/cars.Music license is kinda easier to get than that of cars.Other than NFS,games like GTA4 are gone because of music licenses.Either wait for a re-release with full content like Paradise HD or just pirate the old version

I saw that someone else asked this a while back and didn't get any replies so I'll ask again: Is the PS4 steering delay a design element or a settings problem? I am experiencing a lock to lock delay (from stick movement to seeing the wheels move to the input position) of almost a full second. I have been dealing with it but, DAMN, it is frustrating to the point of me swearing off ever buying another NFS product.

Could someone please tell me if this is something which can be addressed or not? If it is a simple settings adjustment I would love to know. The game is really quite good, save for this ridiculous delay in steering which makes controlling the faster cars almost impossible.

Update, I went through 2 lengthy Chat sessions with EA tech support with no results and I was told the game was no longer supported since it was so "old" anyway.

I took one suggestion here and right clicked the Most Wanted game in Origin My Games. I chose "Repair" and it went through about a half hour of checking and downloading after which the message that the repair was successful. I started MW from Origin launch and was greeted with confirmations that I owned the Terminal expansion pack and new cars. Sure enough, the Terminal map was added to my game and I have the 5 new cars available ( the 918 needing to be won of course ). Played the game and all is there for my Terminal Velocity add-on.

Suggest others try the repair process and hope it helps. : ) Happy camping hopefully for those of us playing this game 8 years after release.

Since the Visual Points removal, you unlock visual parts by "leveling up" your cars to 5-Stars, 6-Stars, 7-Stars, etc.

My guess is why the games got removed is.

1. Undercover uses a version of 1.1.1.8 (i think) vs steam's v1.0.0.1 (it was never updated) and because of this, PC's with 4+ cores is unable to play because of a bug that wil crash the game upon loading into the game. 4+ Cores is starting to become more and more popular, and it's obvious that there's there's been a lot of complaints regarding this + refunds and because they're not willing to fix it, they delisted it.

2. Shift has a issue with the DRM files. You need the paul.dll winui.dll files from a game that works, so basically overwrite those .dll files on shift and it should work.

That's probably why they're delisted on origin and not steam. Steam versions work flawlessly. And it's not because of licensing. If it was a licensing issue, it would been removed from every store, including DLC.

Buy it on steam if you want to own it digitally. it will work above 4+ cores and uses a version that has less bugs than 1.1.1.8. Shift too. You can also use the CD-key found in registry to register them on origin if you want those versions too. it will work, even if the games are delisted.

Contact support and give them your real CD-key. It may take 5-10 tries, as each person is different. Might even take 20 attempts, but it will work, unless something changed within 6 months (they added it for me after 5 tries 6 months ago)

HP2 was 8 years before HP2010,however Heat this POS is what we get after around 10 years without a real Root style NFS.Rivals was rusehd AF so that's a failure.HP2010 was done because Alex Ward insisted on a new HP game and EA had no other choice anymore.However fake Criterion lacks people like Alex to stand against EA and make a unique Cannonball style game.

yeah you re probaly right mate, but you never know mayby EA are so desperate. That they actually give up this FF trend and ditch it for cannonball return, sometimes you gotta have some faith. If you bought Koenigsegg Regera blueprints outside the Special Event, the blueprints you bought will upgrade your Regera further once you complete its special event.

You will still be able to play the Underworld: Downfall special event.

(If you bought stuff using Gold in the special event store, you must finish the special event or all the stuff you bought and Gold used will be wasted)

Old copy of game from 2004 wont have problem running on current system.Re-Release isnt possible since it requires license to cars in the original games again.The reason Paradise was HD and re-release was because Burnout used MFG(Made For Game) cars in the past,so even 10 years later these games can be re-released as a HD version.NFS used licensed cars which means they need car maker's license to add cars back if they re-release a game.Toyota isn't clear about the end of license prohibition(Yes Forza has Toyota returned now but NFS hasn't)So Blackbox games with Toyotas are not possible for re-release now

I doubt so.This new fake-Criterion isnt the Criterion did HP2010 back in the days.Ghost sent lots of people to this new Criterion(or lots return to Criterion) so clearly fake-Criterion will keep on the wrong road of Chav/Rice with good and bad games until they are rushed to be shut down in the end(Blackbox/Real Criterion/Ghost/SMS all suffer from this cycle)

Most likely yes, since they replaced Ghost Games with Criterion. I think it is a good chance that we ,may see a new Hot Pursuit game again. Atleast thats what im hoping for, since im no big fan of this FF trend.

Can you clarify on this? I was just looking for somewhere to buy NFS:U2 online as well (as I have no idea where in the world my old CD ended up) but I've seen a couple posts only on these forums citing the "Toyota License Prohibition". Problem is the only thing I can find relating to that online in any close-matched phrasing is a license change they did last year in basically no longer licensing vehicles for games, however a license change last year should have no legal relation to license agreements at the time of the game release.
