What is the point in having any sort of sbc grind if you are just going to stop me from doing them? I've been stopped 3 times today from doing repeatable SBC's and it's ridiculous. It's been 40 minutes since my last ban and I still can't do anymore.

Why do you even have a limit for how many can be done, if they are infinitely repeatable? It's not like I'm getting anything good from them anyway. This is one of the worst things outside of actual gameplay that you have ever implemented, and a genuinely terrible idea.

It feels like you don't want people to be able to get promo cards without being driven to the store, but that's the idea isn't it? It's not enough to give you the money for the game (which is objectively one of the worst ever) you want to try take every penny you can and you use manipulative tactics to do so.

Sbcs have been ruining the market anyway. So I agree with you it’s time for ea to remove sbcs. They can’t expect people to do them slower. 

SBC's don't necessarily ruin the market, I rarely if ever use the transfer market myself. If I don't get the player myself I just don't use them, and I'm mostly not worried about getting the top top players. I understand why they are so hard to get, but making multiple unlimited SBC's and making it impossible to keep doing them is just ridiculous.

They don't need to get rid of SBC's, but like many other things in the game they just need to implement it better. They are either way too expensive like De Bruyne for example, yeah it may be a great card but I have just as many cards that are somewhat equal or fit my playstyle better. Or they are just not fit for purpose, in the sense it may be a cool card but with playstyles in the game they just aren't good.

SBC's are a great way to stay on the game while taking a break from the actual gameplay, and they can be great for improving your club if you get lucky, but the key is getting lucky. Take today, I probably opened around 60 packs and 70 player picks with the best 2 cards being Renard and Gerrard, everything else was duplicates of cards from my rivals rewards. The odds of me getting the best cards is extremely slim to begin with, but restricting the ways I can get them is straight up manipulation.

If I can't do any more SBC's the only packs I can use are store packs, and considering the amount of coins needed for evolutions these days it's just not viable. Unless I use money, which is exactly what EA are trying to drive people towards. It's manipulative, it's unfair on people that actually understand how to grind or take time to, and quite frankly it's another reason that I'm probably not going to get FC26. Unless it's in a good sale or someone buys it for me it's not worth me spending the time and money on, especially if they are just going to restrict everything I'm trying to do.

If they don’t remove them they could always restrict them to like 5 a day. That way you stop cheating and you no longer ban people doing unlimited amounts.  I still think it hurts the market as people just do unlimited sbcs and no longer need the market so it causing everything to be discard. 

That doesn't stop cheating at all, the sbc grind is the only real way to get a good amount of promo cards without using the store. They also rarely release unlimited SBC's. There wasn't really a good way to grind in TOTS and the market was still terrible. That is due to the fact that they completely messed up the power curve, not the amount of SBC's people do.

The only way to really afford all of the store packs would then be to buy coins, which I'm pretty certain is against the terms and conditions. Most people don't have that sort of money to throw at a game so all they will do is lose even more of their customer base. The big companies like EA are all out of touch and it shows by the amount of people leaving their games. If they want to keep losing them and only have whales left, then they can have them. I say good riddance, I've played the last few years out of loyalty to the game and a love of football. But I'll also gladly never buy it again with the way they are going.

Sbc grind is what is causing people to have to use the store. Before sbcs you could gradually upgrade your team and get the best players. Right now a pack is worthless. It’s why ea just keeps pushing more and more sbcs. Then people even want more and more sbcs so it works out for ea. 

But besides that what is your solution to stop cheating?  Are you just going to let everyone do unlimited amounts and no longer ban cheaters?  I agree having people who are not cheating slow down isn’t a good solution but what is the alternative?

Look if it's sbc players then we maybe don't need them, especially with the amount of promotions now, but sbc packs are essentially worthless themselves. I've only got 1 sbc player in my squad as it is. As for packs, it's rare to get anything good out of them, especially any sort of tradeable reward which feel like they have a lower probability of a promo card in general. 

Personally, I'm talking about implementing sbc's better as a whole. Make it so that even creating an infinite grind isn't necessary, and that way there is no headache with sbc bans or people using 3rd party software to complete them. It's the end of June and EA are still putting out 84 x7 or 85 x 5 combo upgrades, but they don't have enough big sbc's for people to dump their fodder into, which is also causing a complaint. At this time of year they need to be creating better packs, instead they are just copy and pasting their old content.

It’s all of it sbcs evos promos rewards to good of packweights. It’s forcing everyone into the store and like I said people want even more of them. It works out perfect for ea. 

There is no longer the medium priced players. It’s discarded or to expensive. 

Thats why I doubt ea will ever get rid of sbcs or limit them even though thats what is needed and would stop the people who cheat at sbcs. 

Okay, to start pack weight isn't too good if you just run sbc's. I'm lucky if I see 1 top player every 2 or 3 promos, the rest are lower rated duplicates the whole time. Also, we may differ on what we call a medium priced player, so please give me a rough idea?

The main reason EA won't get rid of sbc players is that not every person will earn enough fodder through rewards to complete them and will look to the store for fodder to do so, it's a money making thing along with the way they are pricing evos now. An SBC pack limit is easy to implement, they just need to be smarter and work it along with the power curve, which they also messed up this year.

In the old days when packweights were bad you got no promo players. Now you get tons and tons of dupes of them. That is why they are discard and you can’t afford players you really want. 

At the start of the of the year before ea flood everyone with promos sbcs ect do you open packs with fifa points?  This is the only time of the year it is worth it. While you will get a lot of discard players you get players that are medium priced. You can sell them off and also trade. You can use them to get the top players. 

Once ea floods the game it’s discard or top players. If you spend points now it’s worthless. 

That's because there was barely any promos in the old days. When I started playing the only thing available each week was TOTW cards. You can't compare the old games to what they have now with their money grubbing practices.

Personally, I'm very used to playing with a gold team. Now they have introduced playstyles which means any player without the playstyles are terrible, and it's another attempt to get people to spend money. I literally just scrolled youtube and saw a another video by a content creator of him spending points in the store. Why? Because he wants a video of him getting the top cards, you can't act like we all just pull them from sbc packs.

You also didn't give me a good idea of what you believe a medium priced player is. You say these players are discard, but apart from icons discard is like 11k, which a lot of players still aren't.
