Apex doesn't launch on one account - But does on others.

So... A week or so ago,

I started receiving an issue where the game doesn't launch whatsoever.

It only affects my main account, the game just refuses to launch. I have reinstalled Origin, reinstalled the game, repaired multiple times.

Still doesn't work.

Sometimes, SOMETIMES I can get it to work if I remove Easy Anti Cheat, then repair the game to re-download it.

But, then the next time I am going to play, it stops working again.

If I log in with any other account, the game launches perfectly fine, no issues whatsoever.

So the only variable in this situation is the account I use.

What the actual *?

Anyone know a /Permanent/ solution to this?

I'd rather not have to spend hours trying to get it to work every single time I want to play.

This could be a longshot, but can you try removing some friends from your list to see if that allows you to launch the game? We had a thread here we are investigating that could be related.

Actually I lied now, the game DOES start, it comes to the Respawn/EA Logo, after EAC boot, and then right before coming to the main menu it just crashes to desktop.

No crash logs, nothing in Event Viewer except that EAC unloads, which I suppose is normal, since it does in fact shut down when the game does.

How many friends each do you have on your primary account and secondary account?

I have 68 on Primary account and on Secondary I have 1.

Also, another issue is that the primary has EA Premier subscription thing, and the other one (that works) doesn't.

But I've had that for longer than the issues have been around, so seems unlikely it would be related!

I mean, as ridiculous as it sounds, it works.

Removed down to 40, now game boots without issues.

I no longer know what to believe, my whole life is a lie.

Origin truly is the peak of human (software) technology.

Must be some issue in reading in the variables in the friendslist? Not getting this issue in other Origin games, including Respawn titles, tf2 etc.

Do you remember if any of your removed friends had non-Latin alphabet characters in their name?

@EA_Blueberry im actually about to give up on this game... have the same issue and it keeps crashing everytime i try to open it since the new update season 3.... ive tried everything and deleted all my friendlist... created a new account and works.... its frustrating how ive spent all that money to buy stuff and skins from my old account and i cant use it.

i have the same issue...removed from 60 friends to <20 but still crashes to desktop...
