I was just in a ranked match where I didn't get a 3rd and the 2nd random left after getting knocked, (they were a Wattson). I got to 4 teams left, (me and 3 others), and one team is just wall hacking the whole time, while the other two teams are just ratting. I managed to escape, (AKA not get killed off) the wall hacking team multiple times, to the point where my game crashed when they shot at me for the last time.
So... what? Cheaters can crash your game now?

Hey folks, locking the thread down here as it's getting a bit off track and we cannot address or investigate cheats on the forums.
Please be sure you're using the appropriate reporting tools if you suspect someone else to be cheating.

Hey @Midnight9746,
Do you happen to have any video of this occurring?
As you're aware we really aren't able to take action on claims like this via the forums, so there's not much to be said for this type of post I'm afraid.
If you have any video of something like this happening do feel free to submit that via webform so our teams can take a look, thanks.

@EA_Mako Something similar had happened where it was a 1v1, and the last guy seemed to be teleporting all over the place. On my side of things, they went behind a rock which was out of ring 6, yet they were taking zero ring damage. I was watching both sides of that rock when they suddenly appeared around another rock on my right. The player was a Catalyst.
They were behind the first rock out of ring for like 4-5 seconds, it should of killed them, but it didn't. I was putting up fight and was winning it, then suddenly my game just flat out froze until ring 6 closed over me, and then I died to the ring due to it.
I doubt that it just casually freezes like that when I was about to win.
I tried saving the recording, but the recording is doing that thing where it would freeze on a frame while the video is still playing, but its not freezing where I had actually froze, (video play back shows what was happening while I saw a frozen screen, no idea why), and then what I'm doing at different moments in the recording, isn't what's being heard, and the visuals were bugged, (like hearing me shoot, before the video showed me actually shooting, or not seeing a transition). Might be another issue, but nothing is wrong with my PC, I keep it updated and well managed. The recording was about 10 minutes long, and every part of it before that fight was recorded with zero issues, so if I had to guess, Apex lagged out my system.
While playing, I didn't see this, but the recording caught it, (getting hit with a bunch of error codes, along with it saying that me and the two randoms "joined the game"). The "join the game" happens when there's a server error and it lets players reconnect, or when someone cheats and had kicked you out and you rejoined, from what I've noticed before in the past.
The recording I had was rather useless and doesn't accurately show what had happened, so I deleted it, although I will say that the two enemy players who were knocked were very loud. I mistook one of the knocked players as the one who was still up because the crawling sounded like a player running.
This is also where I was when I wasn't able to move:
This honestly looks like a DDOSS attack, as after I had died, the ping went down to 75, and DDOS attacks had caused my game to freeze before in the past.
When I saw this part, I was able to move, however its ring 6, I had basically no health, so what's the point, even if I could move? A moment after being able to move, I died anyways, and the screen faded to gray, taking the kill feed with it, so I honestly didn't see the "joined the game" when I was able to move again.

@Midnight9746 This game crashes for me at random times. When I kick the door, when I heal, when someone shoots me.
I think the EA/spawn decision to fire entire QA team is paying off. We are the QA now.

@PsyhiX69Meanwhile the increase damage hack is back from what I can tell. I went to fight a player who wasn't paying attention, (or so I thought), so I aimed at them, and then they suddenly snapped to me and seemed to have shot me with a Hemlok with what looked like to be only one burst, and that said it hit me 8 times for 184 damage.
I was wearing a blue helmet, and blue evo shield. Went into the firing range to test the Hemlok, it does kill blue armor players, but it takes 2 burst shots if you hit some headshots, (or even all headshots), or 3 if it hits the body. It takes 8 single fire shots to kill a firing range dummy without hitting its head, and 7 if you hit its head twice, (as shown below). If you hit all headshots, it only takes 5. The firing range dummy seems to have no helmet level, as hitting it on any evo level with a single fire does 38 damage.
According to the wiki about the gun, (not by EA/Respawn): https://apexlegends.fandom.com/wiki/Hemlok_Burst_AR The Hemlok does 38 damage to people wearing white helmets. That means that the firing range dummies all have white helmets. Since I was wearing a blue helmet, I would of taken 32 damage when shot in the head, and to clearify something, I was a Valkyrie. The damage chart below was self-calculated and it does match the numbers required for an all body shot kill, and all headshot kill on the wiki page:
Dummy Damage Stats with white helmet, blue evo (based off what it takes to kill the dummy with a Hemlok):
(Body shots only): 23dmg x 8 shots = 184dmg
(Body, with two head shots): 38 x 2 shots = 76 // 23 x 5 shots = 115 // 76 + 115 = 191dmg
(Head shots only): 38 x 5 shots = 190dmg
Killing a Valkyrie with a blue helmet and blue evo, (also applies to the dummy since it doesn't have fortified):
(Body shots only): 23dmg x 8 shots = 184dmg
(Body, with two head shots): 32 x 2 shots = 64 // 23 x 5 shots = 115 // 64 + 115 = 179dmg
(Head shots only): 32 x 6 shots = 192dmg
Now, how much damage did I take, wearing a blue helmet, blue evo, as a Valkyrie?
Body shots: 6 (6 shots x 23 = 138) // Head shots: 2 (2 shots x 32 = 64) // Total damage: 202
This is also without mentioning the gun's DPS, which for a burst, the wiki says 159dmg, and for a single fire says 147dmg.
We do have a problem here, and that's the fact that the death recap should only really had said 175 damage was dealt, since it stacked the damage into one event. They did 184, when I only had 175 damage possible to take, and was hit 8 times, 2 of which was to the head. As mentioned, the total damage is 202, which if its going to report more damage was done than the max HP/shields I had, it should say 202 instead, however after the 7th bullet had hit me, it should of ignored the 8th bullet, because I would of been -4 in health.
The guy's bullets seemed to have a pattern to them as well, as it hit the body twice, then the head, then the body twice again. That looks like a controlled aimbot to make it look "legit". Watching the recording I took of the fight, about 3 bullets hit me at different moments, so the Hemlok was actually in single fire mode, and the guy fired 5 more bullets at me (from what I can tell), but I'm seeing 6 of them hit me directly, as the health bar goes down 6 different times, the last two shots just flew right through me since I was already dead.
Shots the game claimed was fired and hit: 8
Total damage: 202
Shots I saw hit me: 6
Total damage: Body x 6 shots = 138dmg // Body and two head shots x 6 = 156dmg
The only shots that will hit for 184: 8 body shots
Damage "ignored" from 184 that was the "total damage dealt" as shown in the death recap: (202dmg - 184dmg) 18dmg
Conclusion: The actual damage output doesn't match the damage done, (as shown by the death recap), and the death recap's damage doesn't match the actual damage output, (as shown by both the wiki and personal firing range tests and calculations). Assuming I was really hit for 6 shots, and that I didn't misunderstood what had happened, the player did anywhere between 46-64 extra damage. (46 is if the game counted the "last two" shots as body shots, and 64 if it was counted as headshots).
Taking away the 2 shots I didn't see hit me, we get:
184 - 64 = 120dmg
184 - 55 = 129dmg (1 headshot and 1 body shot)
184 - 46 = 138dmg
I shouldn't of died right away if it was 6 shots.
Going based off of what I said above, about "shots I saw hit me", my guess is that the last two shots were counted as body shots, (which is a bit of a "duh, its in the damage recap", but we've already established that it means nothing). The max damage the player did was 202, which is 27 over the amount needed to down me. The death recap's numbers are 9 over what's needed to down me as well. If the death recap said I was hit 7 times, it would of made complete sense, as I would of considered the extra 9 damage to be part of the total, since I was hit for that amount, even though I didn't have the health for it. (Its like this: you don't split a bullet in half, just because the player could only took half the damage).
Granted this assumption isn't calculating any leg shots, which as a Valkyrie, it would of done 17 per bullet. Assuming two of the shots hit my legs, two of the shots hit my head, and the remaining 4 hit my body, (out of the total 8 reported by the death recap), it would of done a total of 190dmg.
32 x 2 = 64 // 17 x 2 = 34 // 23 x 4 = 92 // 64 + 34 + 92 = 190
I'm going to assume I wasn't being hit in the legs, due to the fact that I got hit in the head twice. So, I'll look into that now; if I got hit in the legs, it can take 2 leg shots, 2 head shots, and 3 body shots, (179dmg) to kill a dummy with a white helmet, blue evo, while adjusting the white helmet to be a blue helmet, it can take 3 leg shots, 2 head shots, and 3 body shots, (184dmg). I'm saying "can", because of the death recap; for it to say: xxoxxoxx (x being a body shot, o being a headshot), its doesn't seem like they were hitting my legs. However, the second example shows that you can do 184dmg in 8 shots if you hit the legs, so I tested the possibility of hitting head, body, and leg shots below:
Testing the recoil, and where the shots landed using burst shots:
Aiming at the dummy's knees from 15 meters brought the recoil up to its lower body, (aimed down and even not aiming down), aiming slightly below the hip, it was recoiling to the dummy's upper body. From a range of 30 meters, either aiming down or not aiming down, the recoil was reaching higher, even near its head, but wasn't hitting it. When aiming at the knees from 30 meters, it reached the dummy's center body, while aiming at the hip area, it was reaching the dummy's shoulders.
I was only able to hit the dummy's head when aiming at its chest at 15 meters, and aiming at the center body / stomach at 30 meters. (I am not fighting the recoil pattern either). The enemy player did have a bit of a height difference, (high ground) in the fight by about 10 or so meters off the ground, and was about 22 meters away from me. I tried the same firing method explained above on dummies that appeared around the new firing range, and was only able to hit the head of the dummy if I was shooting at the body first.
Testing the recoil, and where the shots landed using singe fire shots:
Since the gun is in a single fire mode, the recoil is different. If I shoot slow, I hit around the same area each time, if I shoot fast, it recoils upwards a lot more. The enemy player didn't shoot slow, so I shot around the same speed as they did and found that I can go from hitting the dummy's legs, to hitting its head, even without controlling the recoil or partly controlling the recoil. If I aim down the sights, the bullets, (as expected) hit more accurately and can be lead from the dummy's leg to its head, while hipfiring, hitting the head was far less likely.
The fight only lasted for about a second. The moment they shot me, I was dead. The player also aimed down sights, as I saw the animation of a Ballistic looking through the gun's scope.
Death Recap:

This one, I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if its a cheat, but I'm knocking down players and moments later that player is back up. No one revived, self-reviving isn't a thing anymore, no nothing. The player was left knocked and suddenly is back up. Usually see this after their teammates aimbot my whole team into our deathboxes, and the player who was down during the whole fight is instantly back up with full health and shields the moment the last guy on my team dies.
Edit 1: Yeah its a cheat. Just killed someone and put them into a deathbox, and their teammates instantly "had" their banner the moment my team died, and none of that player's team got the banner nor did they craft it. Cheaters just have auto revive and auto recovery apparently.
Edit 2: Confirmed its a cheat. Me and my teammates knocked down 2/3 players on the enemy team and 3rd player knocked down both of my teammates. I was looking directly at the 3rd player while reloading my weapon, (they were healing), and I went to go push that player. One of the guy's teammates were back up and in the fight which is impossible when the only player who wasn't knocked didn't preform the revive.
Edit 3: Saw a player today (5/18) using a faster revive cheat:
This isn't edited to look sped up either, this is what I saw:
https://youtu.be/dRjUQJ6tk-Y
What I was suppose to see:
https://youtu.be/0n0g6jXScfs
So, in short, its fast reviving. In previous seasons, (such as S2), players did have cheats where they can instantly get back up, but that was common when the golden knockdown still existed. With it gone, it seems fast revive is being used. Which would explain my second edit, because when I pushed the last player, they ran to where my teammates had knocked their friend. I didn't hear anything, so I assumed they went to hide, then I was quickly met with gunfire from two sources. We all know audio doesn't exist either.
Think the reason why I'm seeing the fast revive now, is because the other times it occured, I was the last one on the team to die, and my view was blocked more by the game's animations and transitions to the death recap. I was the first one down in that fight. (The video is of a different team).
