EA/DICE should cut loses, and work on a new game ASAP [ Edited ]

Here's what I think EA/DICE should do (or perhaps will do)

I know the Devs put in so many hours! But the game is a pile of garbage which shows that it doesn't matter how many hours you put in working on something that you don't personally play or even try and test! Game is just full of bugs! HALO was made during COVID as well and it has way less bugs! COD as well (Game is trash but nowhere near as crappy and buggy as our little franchise is)

They should cut the loses and not invest anymore meaningful recourses in this excuse of a game! 

They promise "Year one access" and they should still do that so people won't sue the living hell out of them! But I think this game is dead already! On Steam number of players are less than 4000... Pretty sure it has less than 20k players on all platforms and servers.. that's at best.

EA/DICE should work on a new game and launch it within no longer than a year and a half! They should announce no further updates just after year one update release for BF2042 and start teasing something totally different...

What should it be?!! I don't know, could follow BF1 Or BF4 no one cares! We just want a playable game that is finished.

I'm not going to write what a finished game is because there are so many videos and posts out there it's not even funny! 

But my personal preference is movement of BF5, gunplay of BF1, era and weapons of BF4! 

They can keep this stupid specialist system it doesn't matter! I can go either way if the game is playable.

One thing they SHOULD NOT DO! Is create a BR game based on BF2042 because there is so much bad publicity on this game any spin off will just flop! 

Remove hazard zone all together! 

Have All out warfare with conquest, rush, operations, breakthrough, team death match as base game! Work on portal a bit more as it can kick *! 

Release a BR game a few months before or after either based on a complete and good game, or as a set up for a good and complete game!

@DaizerNation Currently Battlefield 2042 is in a pre-Beta state, that is tested by the users. In my opinion it would be the wrong signal to drop an incomplete project like a hot potato, and start a new one.

As far as I remember, the next Battlefield game started development, and if rumors a right, will be a "hero based" experience as well.

I believe that BF2042 was developed as a Battle Royal / Extraction Royal game, all unnecessary and unwanted features were either removed from the code base, weren't developed at all, or were streamlined for the originally envisioned game type.

At the moment we are in the situation that we have a Battlefield game that is composed from BR/ER assets, with all the issues and short comings we currently experience.

Usually I am against a "blame game" to analyze an issue / situation, but DICE needs to figure out, why the game dropped the Battlefield DNA and went into a totally different direction. Maybe everyone would be much happier, if the name of game would be Hazard Zone 2042, at least that would explain a lot.
The marketing as a Battlefield title was purely to generate revenue.
