Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try the next step. First, both players clear the condition for gifting. Second, be friends on ps only, not be friends in game friend. You have to be friends before playing apex.

Both parties have completed login verification. We have been friends for more than two weeks.

However, I cannot send a gift. My friend's name does not appear on the list.
Could it be, but is it not enough to just be friends on PS?
Do I have to be friends in the Apex game to complete the requirements?

You have to unfriend on Ps once, then search for friends in the apex game and become friends.

I actually verified this several times and found out.
However, yesterday we were able to solve the problem in another way.
The following method.
If you are a friend first in PS, you cannot send an EA friend from the friend banner screen, but you could press the △ button and send the friend from the friend search.
However, this method is a bit complicated and can be very difficult, especially in environments where foreign language support, in my case Japanese, is inadequate.
I understand that it may be technically difficult, but I hope that this kind of service will be user-friendly.

if you're playing on a PS5, you need to make sure that you're also friends in the game, not just on the platform.

however. one problem is, to be friends in game, You have to unfriend on Ps once, then send a friend request.

sadly you won't be able to get around having to befriend your friend in-game, as that is one of the requirements for sending gifts.
Where did you see that you need to unfriend your friend first to befriend him in-game?

Hi, I think you should be an "in-game friend" even if you've been friends with them on PS friend.

If you've been friends with each other before being in-game friends, try the next step.

Try a friend search in the friend list in apex.

You can search △for the button, I suppose. then search your friend's name and send friend requests in-game.

Once your friend accepts the request and waits 2 weeks Then their name shows up.

You and your friends should be done with EA login verification to send a gift.
