I get a email or Origin ID / Password prompt, but can access my account. There is an Orange ! "Online login is currently unavailable". Origin client just patched this evening. Any suggestions?

That has nothing to do with Simcity updating and everything to do with corrupted files in Windows Framework. You need a Game Adviser, but when it happened to me, I ended up with a different PC, a different Windows, and a different browser before Origin would let me log in normally (my system's date and time were always the correct ones for here in Central Time Zone).

check your pc's date and time setting. i tried fixing that and problem fixed

So I tried every single thing I could think of. Then I came across this thread that said origin will check your computers connection before actually checking its connection to its servers. So I thought him ill just run a windows connectivity test and it said I was having issues connecting to a port. So I exhausted a couple more ideas until I found one that worked. Go into internet explorer and follow these steps.
Under tools>internet options>advanced>reset .
Did this Then boom origin worked. Hope it works for you
