Dear friends,

I would like to be informed whether Unravel can be played also with the use of XBox Kinect (v.1 or v.2) rather than the pad.

If yes, do I need Xbox One to do that or can I also do it in Xbox 360 and/or PC.

Cheers

Hey there,

Many thanks for your answer. It was really helpfull indeed.

While doing some more research I have also found something really really interesting:

What's your opinion on that? Could leap motion work with Unravel?

(Note: I have already contacted the developers of Leap Motion sensor and asked the exact same question)

Thank you in advance for your answer!

@Player_vn24323t Hey, Unravel uses standard pad support, I don't think there's any way to use the Kinect to interact with it.
If you want to play on PC then it would also need a 360 or Xbox One pad.

For pad-free gaming I know there is some cool stuff out there, but Unravel isn't an option unfortunately.

I found this while doing some research, maybe you'll find it interesting: https://www.engadget.com/2016/06/28/microsoft-hand-tracking-virtual-reality/

Thanks for the question, I hope this helps.

That's really cool. I did notice this page where you can use gestures to play mouse and keyboard games: https://gallery.leapmotion.com/gamewave/

However while Unravel isn't the most mechanically demanding game in the world, it does have some tricky parts and i'd worry that perhaps such tight timing might be tricky with such tech, so i'd definitely check reviews and tests on intense games.
