Unable to connect to EA servers in UFC 2

I am having the exact same problem, been like this for 2-3 months

My gamertag is EpicShneak and the fact that there are admins suggesting we need to change our ports to connect is ridiculous it is quit obviously ea's fault not all these peoples internet im not changing my setting possibly destroying my connection to cater to your game please let us connect to your garbage servers

That is the way in which network connections work; a port is like a door in your house that you open, if you close it then no one will be able to get through - open the port and you will allow your network to connect to our servers.

Note that if you aren't a fan of port forwarding then simply enabling UPnP on your router should also do the trick. This setting can be seen as automatic port forwarding where a door automatically opens when requested. 

Remember to restart your router and console (completely power them down for about two minutes) every now and then to further improve your connection.

It just happened to me

Having the same issue. Was working fine on 9/1/16 up till about 6 pm CST. Was logged into my Xbox live gold profile Luckyshot_UP playing both online ranked, and offline play now. I then signed into a non gold profile to let a friend try and attempt a ranked match. Since doing so my main Xbox live profile Luckyshot_UP has gotten an error connecting to the EA servers, and it also appears my belt rank of 60 is now a 1. I'm assuming that then means my UT characters may be gone as well which worries me since I spent some $200 on my team. I want to know what happened and why I cannot connect. Yes I've rebooted and all the other basic answers.

It's been happening to me for to days straight. When I first got the game wasn't to long ago it didn't do this, I cant play other people online cause of it. Please help.
